Marcus took the head start he found and tried to figure out where Roman and Riker's lair was. He had an advantage to this, as he used to be a villain himself. He knew how they thought, and where they'd put a lair. Somewhere in plain sight, like his house was, or somewhere that no one knew existed. He hoped it was the first one, because you can't exactly search "places we don't know exist."

"So? Any luck?" He turned around to see Douglas.

"Some. I have a basic area, but it's a big one."

"Let me guess: Chase won't listen?"

   "Bingo."

"He holds grudges. He'll accept you, but it might take awhile. In the meantime, you could stop constantly fighting with him," Douglas gently reprimanded.

"I'm not gonna let him push me around."

   "Just ignore him."

"And I'm supposed to take this advice from the guy who got jealous of his brother and tried to kidnap him and his kids?"

"Well, I learned. Anger isn't worth it."

"When did you get all mystic?" Marcus asked.

Douglas chuckled. "I don't know. It comes and goes."

Marcus grinned and continued to work.

"I'm kinda close to narrowing it down. I found a report of someone seeing two identical teen boys, then seeing them disappear, and there was a ton of flies that flew away. Three guesses who that was."

   "Where was it?"

   "Near the subway."

"Let's tell the others. At the very least, Kaz will believe ya. That kid'll believe anything."

They both got in the elevator.

They found everyone sitting on the couch surrounding a white box.

"He's raising a baby in the basement? That kid's gonna have some serious issues," Oliver said.

"Hey!" Marcus said, glaring at him. Bree did the same, and Oliver shut his yapper.

"Okay, guys," Douglas announced, "we may have a clue as to where Roman and Riker's lair is."

   Everyone stood up.

   "Really? Where?" Bree asked.

"There's been a ton 'a reports 'a identical teen boys suddenly disappearing. And they all happen close to the subway station," Marcus said.

"That makes sense. That's where they took me after they kidnapped me," Skylar said. "Why didn't you check there, Chase?"

"I know, it's weird. The bus and subway is the only way he can get around," Kaz agreed. Oliver nodded.

"Because that's too easy! They'd expect us to look there," Chase defended.

"It's probably like reverse psychology. You'd think they'd expect ya to look there, so ya never do," Marcus said.

"No way!" Chase said. "We can't trust him!"

"It's a place to start," Douglas argued.

"Yeah, Chase, you need to chill out," Bree said. "I know you don't trust him, but c'mon! He saved our lives."

   Wow. Thanks, Bree.
