"What do you think, Gideon?"

"I calculate a less than 6% likelihood that they decide to go on with the mission."

"I meant about the repairs."

"Don't be so hard on the grumpy man, Gideon." Ella said startling the captain. He turned around suddenly feeling calm.

"Excuse me, grumpy man?"

"Suits you." She smiled softly. The Captain is desperately want to ask if she's staying but nothing came out of his mouth, instead his sarcastic crappy facade stays.

"Well thank you, Miss Ellington."

"Before you recruited me, you know what happened right? My past, I mean." She said walking towards the captain.

"A glimpse of it, yes."

"I know how you feel, Captain. I lost someone dear to me too. He sacrificed his life for mine." A memory appears in her mind.

"So, we're a  lot more alike than we think

"So, we're a  lot more alike than we think."

"So, you're staying?" He said with hopeful eyes.

"Definitely." She grins and he does too.

"Rip."

"Rest In Peace?"

"No." he rolled his eyes but smile anyway.

"Call me Rip."

"Then call me Ella."

"Am I interrupting something?"

Wide eyes they move away from each other. "Nope. Not at all."

"He's gone. Our son... or, our son from our previous life. It's all too confusing."

"Kendra." Ella said full of pity and walks to her to hold her hand.

"I'm very sorry." Carter comes and stand beside Kendra and Ella return to her position before that is beside Rip.

"Actually, you don't get the blame for this. This was my fault. If I hadn't insisted on bringing him back here, he might have died peacefully, in his sleep maybe."

"Don't torture yourself with recriminations. One of the great lessons of time travel is that many things cannot be changed. Time wants to happen. Chronos, even Vandal, won't be the only enemy we face. Very often, it will be time itself." Everyone is now here.

"Whether it wants to happen or not, we're gonna change time, erase Savage's future, and earn our rightful place in history." Ray said full of determination.

"Dr. Palmer is correct. We may not be legends in your time, Captain, but we are going to decide our own fates." Professor Stein chimes in.

"I don't give a damn about being a legend, as long as we end Savage once and for all." Carter adds.

"I can get down with that."

"And our malcontents?" Stein said to the duo.

"I like killing people."

"We're in. For now." Rip's instinct is to look at the girl beside him. She smiles softly at him.

"Those 6% really do wonders eh, Gideon?" Ella said smiling proudly.

"So how do we find this guy?"

"Professor Boardman had a theory about that. I've already had Gideon plot a course."
