"Why is Chronos attacking us?" Jefferson said panicking.
"Perhaps Captain Hunter is best suited to answer that query."
"Fire photon torpedoes or something!"
"Only Captain Hunter is authorized."
"Where is Captain Hunter?"
Good question.
"Dr.Palmer please tell me-" Captain Hunter began while they are trying to get back to the ship.
"I didn't leave my exo-suit on the ship? Okay, but I'd be lying."
"Who the hell is this guy?" Ray said as they hide behind some piece of metal. Captain Hunter looking annoyed as ever pulled out his gun and start firing back.
"Is that a laser gun?" Professor Boardman said amazed while Captain Hunter looked at him rather annoyed. Really annoyed actually and then get back to firing his laser guns. But Chronos' blasts are more powerful as they send them backwards.
"Gotta get back to the ship and bond with Jefferson. Cover me!"
"Cover me too." Ray said as they both take off.
"Oh, you crazy old man."
Stein run for his life to the ship as Chronos' with no mercy kept on shooting and one blast knocking him to the ground. Ray help him to his feet and they keep running.
"Thank you, Mr. Palmer."
"Seriously? It's Dr. Palmer."
"Get down!" A bomb sets off near Captain and Professor Boardman sending them to the ground.
"We need to merge!"
Chronos stand above both of them and look like he's abot to attack again but a car knocked him over.
"We go out for one lousy drink, and you guys somehow manage to pick a fight with Boba Fett."
Everyone is now combat ready and is fighting Chronos. Captain Hunter gestured Professor Boardman to go. As they were running, a blast sending Professor Boardman flying and now is heavily injured.
"Aldus! We'll get you out of here!" The Hawks fly their way towards their son.
"You're doing good." They finally made it to the ship.
"Professor Boardman has sustained severe internal injuries."
"Prepare the MedBay to receive Professor Boardman and get us out of here!"
"Course heading?"
"Anywhere but here!"
They finally escaped from the attack. Though the Captain is pissed.
"Our cloaking shield and aft entrance have been significantly compromised, Captain."
"Yes, I can see that, Gideon. Station us in the temporal zone while I work on repairs."
"Temporal zone?"
"Yeah, it's essentially a time limbo. We can hide out there for a bit. Another temporal jump would risk revealing our position."
"A time limbo? Astonishing."
"Oh, there's something you people don't know about time travel? That's surprising, isn't it? Considering none of you have ever time traveled before. Bringing a family member from the past onto a timeship? Breaking out and carousing around the 1970s? We've barely begun, and already this is the worst, unmitigated disaster of my career."
