You felt something brush your cheek, making you groan. Even with your eyes closed, the room wasn't bathed in light yet meaning it was early. Too early to be awake on a Sunday morning. Another light touch was felt at your shoulder and you grumbled incoherently and rolled over, trying move away from the assaulting touch.

A low rumble could heard, and felt, as an arm wrapped around your waist to pull you back, the light touches resuming at your shoulder and moved up your neck.

"Steve," you whined as you tried to wriggle away with no avail, "I wanna sleep. Leave me alone."

"But darling," he whispered, "it's my first day off and I wanna spend it right. With you." Each word was punctuated with a kiss moving higher on her neck until his lips were at her ear.

"Don't care," you mumbled, turning to face him, eyes still closed, "wanna sleep. You warm. Have you here." A huge yawn overtook your speech as you nuzzled into your husband, curling around his body. You felt his lips at your forehead, his fingers massaging your scalp.

"Okay," he chuckled, pulling you flush against him, "you can have another hour, but then your mine."

"S'at sounds s'good. Sleep," you mumbled and let his warmth lull you to sleep again, still feeling his lips pressed against your forehead in what seemed to be a lingering kiss.
