It's been two days since the fight with Nomu. Hawks and Y/N have been getting really close and Y/N knew that this was a sign that Hawks liked her as more than a sidekick or trial student, he liked her as a friend. That was good right? It was only day 3 and Hawks was already liking her... perhaps this might work.
Well... make that night 3.
Y/N was looking for Hawks that night, it was stormy and there was so much thunder. But- Y/N was scared of it. So scared. "H-Hawks?" She stuttered in the dark halls of his house. He was honestly nowhere to be seen... "come on... this isn't funny..." Y/N said, gripping the sleeves of her hoodie tightly.
"Y/N...? Why do you sound scared?" A pair of hands gripped her shoulders and she jumped. Thank god, it was only Hawks. "H-Hawks!" He chuckled, "just call me by my name, Hokusu." (Yes I needed to research that XD) Y/N shook her head, "I-I'm not scared..." but then a whip of thunder cracked and Y/N jumped out of her skin, her arms wrapping around him.
"You are scared. Stop lying to me." Hawks said, his arms going around her. "You're scared of thunder? Guess the big bad birdie isn't as tough as she looks..." Y/N frowned and buried her head in his chest, "shut up Hawks." He chuckled, "come on Y/N... I'll help you get your mind off of it."
She shook her head, "no! I'm not taking my head out!" Hawks sighed and grabbed her jaw, making her head raise to look at him and connect their lips. "Mmph!" Y/N got out, before kissing back. The world seemed to disappear for that short amount of time. Hawks pushed her to the wall, putting his arm next to her head as they kissed.
Y/N wrapped her arms around his neck as his arm snaked around her waist, causing their bodies to become closer, his other arm joining it once she left the wall and into his body. They stayed like this for a few minutes before breaking off, Hawks speaking first. "It worked. The thunder has gone." He chuckled.
She rolled her eyes and looked away, trying to avoid his eyes, "yeah... no thunder." Hah.. It actually worked? How many girls has he done this too?
