Love at First Bite

Chapter 14

(This is Seventh year)

Riana's P.O.V.

Its Seventh year and everything is fine, sort of. Kaitlyn soon told us EVERYTHING of Dumbledore's plan and has been asked to go back to normal. Malfoy was kicked off the team and Kaitlyn became the new Slytherin Quidditch team captain.

Sadly, Skye and Kaitlyn's parents where killed by 'the dark lord' and now Kaitlyn has to look after their little brother. Henry. But good for her, Elizabeth or 'Grandma  Liz' as she likes to be called, takes care of little Henry when Kaitlyn is doing homework or Quidditch practice.

Everything is great and I have these tickets for all of us to go to Tasmania, which I honestly think will be amazing. Skye and Jason are head girl and boy! I was so happy for the both of them I was practically screeching. 

Everything seems fine with the love life. Everyone's fine and Elizabeth is finally opening up to James, as in 'loving' him. 

 Today is the first Quidditch game of the year. Kaitlyn and James have been ranting on about how there teams are better then the others but after the game I bet everything will go back to normal. 

I stopped my giggles when i noticed Dumbledore stood up. "Can the Griffindor and Slytherin quidditch teams make their way down to the field. "Lets go Boys!" Kaitlyn called ushering to her team. "See you on the field, Potter." She winked smirking then walking away, leading her team to the field. 

James mimicked her mouth with his hand and picked up his broom. He gestured for his team to follow. The rest of us looked at each other and got up with everyone else in the hall to go to the field. We got good seats and waited for the games to start. Remus was over by the microphone.

Everyone else except for Peter,  Molly, Alice, Frank and Arthur where all cheering for the Slytherins. Surprisingly. Soon the teams came out and Kaitlyn and James shook hands. I'm not a hundred percent sure but I think Kate gave Prongs a death grip. That poor soul.

"Let the match begin!" Remus called over the speakers. The crowd cheered as the players got on their brooms and began. It took a while until I heard someone yell over the speakers. "MELANIE SIRIUS PLAY THE BLOODY GAME!" My eyes shot to the two Griffindor beaters. "NOPE" Mel yelled back. Kaitlyn flew upside down past them. 

" Melanie play the game." "OK then" James looked at Kaitlyn confused. "How did you-" "I'm Kaitlyn. I'm like the only one she listens to and there's the snitch." At that moment Kaitlyn zoomed for the golden snitch. "I think Kaitlyn Tala just saw the snitch!"

Well Kaitlyn caught the snitch and she just landed and was lifted on Jason's shoulders. She held it up and the air and was carried off the field by her team. 

Kaitlyn's P.O.V. 

I managed to sneak out of the Slytherin party and to the Griffindor common room where a just dance composition was going on and James and Sirius where just about to start. 

I was laughing and smiling the hole time through it. When my significant loud laugh rang through the building Remus turned and offered for my to sit in his lap. I walked over and curled up happily.

I stared into the fire and jumped when I felt arms rap around me. "Had a fun night?" Remus asked handing me a hot chocolate. "I'm exhausted!" "All worth it in the end"I smiled looking down at me. 

I smiled and rested my head on his chest. "Kaitlyn?" I looked up at his uncertainty. "Yea?" "I just wanna say that, all I can smell lately is you so I think that your my mate." I blushed. "So you'll have to mark me? wont you?" He nodded. "Get it over with." I said moving my hair out of the way. He pulled me closer and got ready to bite me.  

He looked at me. "You sure you wanna do this?" I nodded. Before I could say any more he bit down on my neck. Tears filled my eyes as he pulled away. I single tear fell and he caught it with his finger and flicked it away. 

"Your turn." I did the same with him and he had no tears. I looked at him crossly. "Whats up with you?" He asked. "You didn't cry.." I pouted. He chuckled and planted a kissed on my forehead. "You wanna come up stairs?"

I nodded and he picked me up and carried me into the marauders room. I looked in amusement as I saw Melanie and Sirius all cuddled up. "She comes in here sometimes." Remus whispered. I looked at James and saw he was muttering something in his sleep. and Peter was half way out of bed. 

Remus dropped me on his bed and got in himself. i put the blanket over us and cuddled up to his chest. He wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer. 

When I woke up the next morning. I had to push Remus off me as I got up and stretched. "Morning, sleepy head!" I looked at the happy Melanie skipping out of the bathroom. "Morning Mel." I yawned. "Liz bought up your stuff earlier so you can go get changed." I nodded and headed into the bathroom.

Just as I opened the door Remus was there with no shirt. Of course my face turned into a tomato and I let him through my eyes still wide and face red like a tomato. Great.. He was blushing to so I wouldn't care much about me, at least I didn't look like I was about to explode. 

I waited downstairs in the griffindor common room for the others. When they finally came Melanie and I linked arms and skipped all the way to the great hall. Everyone was surrounding a Daily Prophet and looking either terrified or in shock. "Whats going on?" I asked pushing ym way through. 

I looked at the title. 

"'He-How-Must-Not-Be-Named' Has gained power and has taken over the ministry of magic." 

This can't be good..
