A/n: Just so you know this story won't follow Bloodborne lore verbatim. Also I wanted to write this because I have just recently played Bloodborne and I thought of this.
There once a family of hunters, of which consists of a couple and there two sons. They were all very talented hunters. However, the mother was actually pregnant with another child. This was swell news to the family however, what they didn't expect was that one of the doctors injected the child with some beast blood. They saw it as a time to experiment to see its effect on that of a child. The effects didn't get made apparent though until the boy turned 8 he begun to look pale and sick before passing out one day. At this point it was better to take the boy to that of Gehrman who was able to tell what affliction had befallen the young child. (Y/n)'s parents were shocked to say the least and pleaded for their sons safety. At this Gehrman relented only if the boy remained at the workshop should his beast hood ever overcome him. The only thing that would satiate his beast hood is ingestion of blood of any type, long spurts without causes him to fall sick or even worst be drove into a frenzy at the sight of blood when starved though this only has occurred once but it didn't cause any damage just a hunter of the workshop ended up losing one of his blood vials. Though his parents were worried about their son essentially living at the workshop but, (Y/n) loved it. He was always so intrigued by the hunters and would often listen to the stories they would tell. Often he would hear stories from Gehrman or have the Doll read him stories from the different books about the different hunts. Although he had a hunter who would always share stories with the boy despite his affliction and that hunter was Djura. Djura enjoyed seeing wonderment in the child's eyes at his stories. Sadly, for (Y/n) Djura seemed to disappear after a hunt in Old Yharnam. Then he met a very rare person and someone everyone else feared at the workshop and that was Eileen the Crow, (Y/n) however was not determined by this. She was surprised to see how interested he was in her form of hunting but, even more surprising he knew what not to ask her of which most well trained hunters themselves didn't know. He was also the only person at the workshop to see her face which was accompanied by a smile, she did this because during this trying time the smile and excitement he had made her believe there was still some good left and help to keep her from becoming too jaded. However, being that she wasn't from Yharnam she was eventually going to leave and thus she did. There was one last hunter who he met and though, unlike the other two she wasn't necessarily fond of the boy to begin with. What ended up making her feel differently was when some amidst the workshop sought to hurt the young boy because they considered him to be a beast. Lady Maria (like I said not completely following the lore) decided to step in and put a stop to it, just because this child had beast blood within him doesn't mean he deserved death. Once it was all over with he thanked and hugged her she just brushed it off as nothing and went on with her life. As (Y/n) got older he saw less and less of the hunters and his family. He then also began train with Gehrman, of which (Y/n) excelled greatly at and soon attained the status of a full fledged hunter all at the age of 16, he was then also introduced to the hunters dream. This discovery would allow the young hunter to finally leave the workshop to end the most recent of hunts. His journey was very long and arduous, but (Y/n) remained undeterred in his goal. (Y/n) would see and help those same hunters he had met in the workshop from years ago. The first was Djura who with enough talking he was able to convince him to come back to the hunter's dream. He would then aid Eileen in the killing of two blood thirsty hunters and saving of her life by taking her to the hunter's dream. Lady Maria was a bit more difficult, but yet somehow (Y/n) managed to not only beat her on his own but then convince her to come back to the hunter's dream as well. She mainly joined him due to the amount of ability he had during battle and though she'd never admitted it she was thankful for the young hunter's offering of rejoining the hunter's dream. However, not all things were great for (Y/n). He saw many of innocent people become killed by beasts and mad hunters alike. The site of the orphanage made him sick, the fact people would experiment on children and turn them into awful creatures. Perhaps what hurt the worst was him finding out what happened to his family. His whole family was dead both of his brothers succumbed to the creatures they hunted. The only thing that he was able to use to identify them was there weapons, while his mother killed his father in a blood lust and then that left (Y/n) to kill his mother. This would be something that would haunt him for so long. That is until Gehrman got an idea and begun to craft a special hunter's mark for the four hunters who had effectively ended the hunt that had lasted years, this mark would take them to a time when things would be far safer and they would be reborn as infants to different families. They all accepted because in the wake of the hunt there was honestly nothing left for them thus, they all exchanged a goodbye just in case the others chose not to remember before using the hunter's mark. (Y/n) was pretty sad as he said goodbye to the three who were basically family to him.
-On Remnant in Vale-
There is a woman with blonde hair and green eyes getting ready for bed as she had stayed up longer than she should've grading papers. She then hears a knock at the door she decides to go see what it is only to look down and see a baby in a basket, with a note that just says.
"His name is (Y/n)"
At she picks up the baby boy and says while sighing.
Glynda:"Well I can't leave you out here by yourself can I?"
(Y/n) opens his eyes but then smiles at the woman and snuggles into her arms as he drifts back to sleep.A/n: That's the first part of this completed. I hope you will all enjoy this and I hope to see you all in the next one. Also I have a question, what build should (Y/n) be Skill, Strength, or Bloodtinge? This will determine your weapon so yeah. Other that until next time, Peace!
