I Always Get What I Want

Chapter 5

*2 months later*

It was the day of Bucky's 30th birthday Dot had thrown him a big birthday bash and he was less than thrilled about it cause that meant he couldn't spend his birthday with the girl he wanted to spend his birthday with. He told her that when he was going to be around Dot to call his driver Mr Carter if she needed to get a hold of him. He made sure he was put on everything including the top person to be contacted in case of an emergency. 

While he was at his birthday party she was at the campus library working on her mid term paper for her Psychology class. She had been texting him here and there but mainly working on her paper. As she was leaving a guy came up behind her and attacked her and tried to rape her and she fought him off and she laid there and waited till he was gone but campus security saw her trying to fight him and caught him and she called Carter. 

"Ms Sutton is everything ok." he said 

"I need help Carter..I was attacked." she said 

He found Bucky and leaned in his ear "Reagan... now I called an ambulance and spoke with campus security she was attacked while leaving the library." 

He went over to Dot and said "I have to go Dot I'm sorry thanks for the party though." 

He left and got in the car and said "Carter did she say anything else." 

"no just that she needed help that she was attacked." he said 

They got to the ER and he seen her and whispered "Baby." 

She looked up and started to cry and he hugged her and said "Shh I'm here." 

He saw the bruises on her neck and her busted lip and black eye and he said "I'm going to hire you a driver sweetheart. Carter is more than my driver he's also my head of security he's going to find you someone baby ok." 

She shook her head yes. They discharged and he stayed with her and held her he didn't care for the first time that he had already spent his one night a week with her. Carter got her car back to her apartment building the next morning Bucky woke up to his phone buzzing against the nightstand and made sure Reagan stayed asleep. 

"Where are you James Buchanan you completely bailed on your own birthday party before we  did cake" Dot said

"I had to take care of something Dolores so please spare me." he said 

Reagan was asleep naked next to him and she rolled over on her side and he looked over at her and grabbed her tiny hand compared to his hand and interlaced his fingers with hers. 'James you have been acting really weird for the past two years. I want to know what is going on with you. Ever since our company has hit it big you have changed." 

"I'm sorry that you feel that way Dolores and by the way it's my company not yours just because you work for me doesn't mean it's yours." he said 

"Ugh just get home." she said 

"I'll come home when I damn well choose to Dolores" he said and hung up and threw his phone on the night stand. He cuddled up behind Reagan and she whispered "She's a bitch baby." 

"I know baby" he whispered as he ran his fingers up her arm and kissed her as they both went back to sleep. 

*2 weeks later*

Reagan was boarding a plane and she was in a bad mood cause she started her period that morning and that meant no sex before she left. Bucky hugged her and said "I'm going to miss my darling girl"
