I blinked as I woke up but I was still laying on Percy's chest as Tyson slept in his bed on the other side of the cabin. I slowly sat up then ran a hand through my hair and looked around, trying to find a hair tie. I grabbed one off the nightstand then stood and went to the bathroom to do my business. When I got out, Percy was awake but laying there in the bed just staring at nothing.
"Morning." I whispered and he smiled at me as I leaned over him to kiss him. He held my waist then I stood and slid my converse on, having already been dressed in leggings and a sweater.
"I was going to see who's awake, you coming?"
"Yeah, give me a second." I nodded and he got up then got ready as I waited. When he came back, we went outside but he held my hand tightly.
"Oh, hey, I almost forgot." He said and reached into his pocket. I stared as he pulled out the ring I thought I'd lost a long time ago when he fell to one knee and I froze as the few campers who were awake stared at us.
"I know this was yours at one point but I couldn't think of a better way to return it." He said and I looked down at the ring I never took off.
"Percy." I breathed and covered my mouth as he smiled up at me.
"My knee is kinda hurting, Cressa." I laughed and nodded then he smiled as he slid the ring on me as he stood. I held his neck as he hugged my waist then he kissed me as everyone applauded but as far as I was concerned, we were the only two in the world.
"I love you, Cressa." He whispered and I grinned as I laid my head on his chest. That afternoon, Chiron decided to make it full camp knowledge and sent us to New York to see his mom. Course, I had to dress right for the occasion.
We got to her apartment and he knocked then an older man opened the door but Percy smiled.
"Hey, Paul. Is mom here?"
"Yeah, she is. Sally!" We went inside and I held Percy's hand tightly as we went to the living room. His mom and Paul came out then sat and Percy smiled.
"Mom, this is Cressa. Cressa, this is my mom Sally and Paul, her boyfriend." I smiled and waved the Sally caught my hand and stared at the ring.
"Percy?!"
"Yes, mom." She beamed and made me stand then hugged me, making me laugh.
"Oh my god, you're so beautiful! Oh, I'm so happy for you two!" She said and I laughed softly as Paul finally caught on.
"Oh! Oh, oh my god." He said and we all laughed as he hugged Percy.
"Kinda young, kiddo."
"Hmm, I don't really care." Percy smiled and held my waist then Sally grinned at me.
"This is so wonderful, Percy."
"And we even got it to where you two can come to see the camp." I said and Sally's eyes widened.
"So we'll be there for the wedding?!" I nodded and she cheered then Paul laughed as he held her.
"Sally, it's alright. Calm down before you break something." She laughed and hugged Percy then Paul hugged me.
"I'm just so happy for you both." Sally said and eyed me.
"Wait, how old are you?"
"Just turned eighteen yesterday." I said and Percy's eyes widened as he realized what that meant. I came back to life on my birthday.
"Okay, that's good! If not-"
"Don't worry, my dad would have given plenty of consent." I said and Percy nodded.
"He really would have." Sally laughed then we stayed for dinner and made it back to the camp just as the sun was setting. We decided to walk around for a little bit since we were about to be kept apart by so many things until the wedding but as we stood on the dock, he hugged my waist and laid his chin on my shoulder.
"Percy, are we going too fast?" I asked and he snorted.
"No. There are some people who get married the day they meet. We've known each other for just about a year now and trust me, that's legendary for demigods." I laughed and turned in his arms then kissed him, happy to have him here.
"Good. I'd hate to be boring." He smiled and held me close then dragged me back to the cabin but both of us were happy Tyson wasn't there tonight, he'd truly hate us if he were there.
