Opening my heavy eyelids as the sunlight reflected off the glass through the window, I buried my face under my white cold fluffy blanket. Standing up and dragging my feet across the hardwood floor, I slipped on my sports bra and black leggings on then put my black Nike shoes messily on, I laced my shoes up before going to the stairs. Keeping a rhythm stepping down the stairs, I opened the door as cold air smacked against my face. Ethan was just out the door stretching as loud music blasting through his headphones, I put my air pods into my ear stretching beside him as he began to laugh.
"So, we are running partners now?!" He asked swinging his arms across his muscular body, I stood straight up showing a little smile.
"Sure we wake up about the same time and we both go the same pace so i guess" I answered back. We began to jog with each other as we ran in silence, he looked at me then back in front. "So your dating my brother?" He started a conversation as I sighed heavily not wanting to answer. "Come on we went on one date and it's probably nothing, I'm probably just another girl to him and trust me. I'm nothing special." I kept on running as he shook his head, we came across a busy street as we waited. "That's not what he said he talked about you after your date with him, I've never seen him happier in my life. I'm not trying to hit on you or be flirty er- anything; but your special, different, but a good different a very good different.." He smiled at me as I blushed feeling good about myself, we began to run across the street and Ethan ran with me.We both sweaty and laughing at each other corny jokes walking up the stairs I missed a step almost tumbling down as I grabbed Ethan's body to caught my fall. Pulling me onto the step right in front of his door, Ethan held me in his arms as Grayson opened his door smiling. His smile faded away Grayson slammed the door on us, I got up from Ethan's arms.
"I think you should go..." Ethan mumbled as I nodded my head walking slowly upstairs, thinking about Grayson. I heard shouting and believing everything was my fault I felt guilty and just I wanted to get rid of that feeling out on a punching bag. I quickly rinsed off all the sweat and dirt in the shower then I grabbed my boxing stuff in my big black duffel bag. Locking my door and stepped down the stairs as I passed by their door silently, On the walk there I tried to forget that moment but it kept sticking on me. Opening the rusted door and the smell comfort me as people said hi to me, once I was already had my black sports bra with a ;tight white tank top, black leggings, my speed bag, and wraps. Hanging up my speed bag I started to wrap my hand struggling with frustration as Grayson looked at me concerned but didn't want to talk to me. I sat down and put my head back on the cement wall it was cold but the coolness relaxed me from the stress.
"You need help?" I heard a voice that gave a soothing tone to it, I opened my eyes seeing a guy sat next to me. His tone mocha skin was smooth under the blue shirt he wore over it, his dimples pierced his cheeks as white teeth appeared from his full brown lips. "Uhh. Yeah. Sure. Yeah" I nodded my head at him and he chuckled at me. I handed the wraps to him, he grabbed my small hands compared to his.
"My name's Vick. Vick Jackson." His hands were soft and his veins bulged from his soft skin. "I'm Lee. You can call me Lee." I told him his wrapping was pretty much on point if you ask me. I glanced at Grayson staring down Vick, Grayson jaw clenched in anger as he punched the bag even harder than usually.
"I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new?" He asked as he grabbed the tape out of my hands. "Yeah I just got to LA a week ago" "Oh so you just moved here!" He padded my knuckles and stood up. "Yeah." I smiled getting up with him, Vick was tall about 6'2 and Grayson was 6'1 hardly taller than him.
"Do you want me to help you?" He asked. "I don't care" I told him as he watched my body move. I felt uncomfortable as he stared at my exposed body, he was nice at first but now he is going to far.
"Here. You should face this way." He grabbed my waist as I shrugged his hands off. Vick kept on grabbing me and I was about to punch him.
"Can you stop?!" I turned towards him as he smirked. "Stop what?" Vick looked down at me and got closer and nobody I thought was watching, he touched my waist. Someone punched him in the face and kept on punching him as Vick put his hands out.
"Grayson?!" I yelled, Grayson stood over Vick and they were toppling over each other. "Grayson! Stop!" I grabbed him as other guys were pulling them off each other, the fight was broken up but the police were called and Grayson was arrested for assault.
