Chapter 5
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. It was Madi.
" Hailey, Hailey, Hailey!! How are you? How's everything over there? How's training? Ohh I remembered that Brittney girl was training with you. Don't you hate her?"
" Madi relax with the questions! Yes I'm training with Brittney and yea I hate her I punched her 2 days ago and was close to doing it yesterday too. Training is going well, and yea I'm great. How are you?"
" I'm good, missing you, bored at home sine you aren't around."
I could see her frowning even though I wasn't with her. I missed her so much.
" I miss you Madi. I really do. I wish you were here with me. You could help me throughout all the stress Im going through now and all the nerves. The Olympic trials are in a week and I feel ready but I'm still a nervous wreck, and..'
" Stop talking trash, you will do perfect in the Olympic trials. You will make it into the Olympics without a doubt!"
" Thanks Madi, I love you so much."
" I love you too Hailey and I miss you so much."
" I have to go, I have to go train."
" Ok good luck, have fun babe, love you."
" Thank you, Love you too."
I didn't realize that I was in tears until I felt a tear drop onto my leg. I missed her so much.
" Hailey time to get up, we are doing an indoor meet today, just a small competition before the Olympic trials, to try to get rid of the nerves." Jordan said
" Okay I'll be right there let me wash up first."
I walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower, I got out and picked up my wet hair into a ponytail and put my leo on. I walked out of the hotel and made my way to the gym. We all lined up as if we were ready to compete in the Olympic trials. I was first up on beam. Beam was always my favorite event. I was the best at that event. I stumbled on one of the skills out of the 6 we had to do. I ended up with a 15.8 out of a 16.5. I ended up getting first place on that event.
Bars came up next and I was always good at this event. I stuck everything and ended up with 16.00 out of 16.5. Floor came up next and I have always had trouble on this event because I have no endurance or very poor endurance. My tumbling passes went well except the last one. I put so much power into it that I stepped out the floor. I ended up with a 15.00 out of a 16.5 which didn't make me happy. I needed to win this meet.
Next was vault the easiest of all events. I stuck both vaults and ended up with a 16.3 out of 16.5. I got a standing ovation for that vault. Over all I ended up with 1st place all around.
" Congrats Hailey! I'm so proud of you!"
" Thank you! Bella! I couldn't have done it without you!" I truly coudn't have. He had giuded me through all my problems and told me I could do it when nobody else did.
" Madison I won first place!!!"
" OMG Hailey, congrats!! I'm so proud of you. Now that you got this over with, you need the Olympic trials because I know you will win!"
" Thank you Madi, I have to go I love you so much"
" I love you too Hailey God Bless"
I hung up, I missed her so much. I really wanted her here.
" Hey Hailey wanna go out to eat to celebrate your winning?"
" Hey, yea I'll be right there let me get out of this leo."
I headed towards my room and took a shower. I finally got out all the chalk off of me. I dried my hair and decided to leave it down since it was already straight. I put my make up on and got dressed. I decided on a red one shoulder dress that showed off my curves and it reached mid-thigh with black pumps I quicky headed out the door. I thought I had taken so long , that they had left without me. We went to a 5 star restaurant. Again I dont know where my coach gets the money from. Dinner was well dinner and it went my pretty quick. I wasn't feeling too peachy.
" Hey guys, I'm gonna head back to the hotel, it's getting pretty late and I'm tired."
" Ok" they all chorused.
Each one hugged me and told me congratulations for my achievments. I waved good bye and walked out. The walk back to the hotel wasn't far and I needed it. To pray to God and to relax about the Olympic trials. I finally arrived at the hotel after a good 15 minute walk. As i was heading up to my room, walking in the hallway, something grabbed my arm and the scream I let out could have awoken the entire world. The person turned me around and covered my mouth and I knew exactly who it was.
Harry Styles.
"Harry don't do that! You scared the living daylights out of me!" Grabbing his hand and uncovering my mouth.
" Sorry love, I had to get the attention of a beautiful girl, looking extremely sexy in that dress."
I blushed like crazy.
" Thank you Harry. I do try to look my best." I said while walking away
He pulled my arm and again our faces were inches apart.
" Aren't you a flirt?" I whispered
Our lips hovering over each other's. He had one hand gripping my arm and the other hand on my lower back.
" Would like to go on that date with me now?"
" I was actualy heading back to my room because I didn't feel good." I said
" Well I guess we are having a movie night, just the two of us in my room." He said
" I have to go change and brush my teeth, and I have practice tomorrow, and.."
" Stop, you like fine, and I promise you will be back in your room at mid-night. Is that fine?" he said
" I guess."
We headed towards the elavator and in the elavator, he locked hands with mine. I pulled away instantly and told him.
" We are just friends."
I turned away but by the side of my eye I could see he was smiling his famous smile, I knew he wasn't going to stop until he had me all to himself. To tell you the truth, I wanted him all to myself too.
