Chapter 13
" C'mon Hailey, you can do this. It's been a year already. You need to get over him. He broke your heart, you deserve a lot better." Madi said as I turned around.
" Madi, why does it feel like Bella was lying and Harry was never going to leave me? That Harry really did love me?"
Madi stopped talking and she turned her head. Thinking of why I could feel that. I really did feel that though. There was something telling me that Harry was never lying. That it was Bella all along. Maybe my mind could be playing tricks on me, and forcing me to think differently.
" Hailey that's what you want to think. It's not true, but something tells me the same thing. Who knows? Maybe Bella was lying."
Another thing was that I couldn't believe that Bella could do that to me. I couldn't believe that he would lie to me and break a relantionship I had with someone that I loved. Madi grabbed my hand an started making her way towards the guys. I squeezed Madi's hand letting her know that I was nervous and scared to talk to them, especially Harry. She looked at me letting me know that everything was going to be okay.
She let go of my hand as we approched the boys.
" Hi." Madi said a little to cheerfully. She kept on looking at Niall and Niall at her. Something was going on.
" Hey guys, what are you going to do tonight?" Niall asked, staring at Madison and not even looking at me.
" Umm, I'm meeting up with all my teammates and all the other competitors that were in the Olympics, so I'll meet up with you guys later. Is that okay, Madi?"
" It's okay, Hailey. Go have fun and celebrate your winning, you deserve it." She smiled at me.
" Thank you Madi, I'll catch up with you guys later." I said while looking at all of them and making eye contact with Harry.
His expression was sad, like he didn't want me to go.
" That's okay, Hailey. I'll take care of Madison for you." He said while wrapping his arm around her waist, which caused her to blush, a lot.
I let out a small laugh and thanked him. I turned around and started making my way towards the middle of the dance floor and spotted someone that looked familiar. Now way. It was her. Oh my Gosh, t's her!
" LULU! LULU!" I grabbed her attention and she turned around. A huge smile grew on her face.
" HAILEY! I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH! CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE THE WORLD CHAMPION! HOW ARE YOU? YOU LOOK AMAZING!"
I didn't even respond to anything I just hugged her. I had missed her so much. We had to separate when I moved here to train and she had to stay back home. We met in middle school, where we became best friends. Her and Madison are the only people I trust. I truly love them both.
" AHH LULU! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S YOU! YOU LOOK STUNNING TONIGHT! BUT WAIT, HOW ARE YOU HERE!?"
She smiled and blushed.
" About that, umm, I never had the time to call you because of your training, and I didn't want to inter.."
" Lulu, who are you here with?" I gave her a smirk.
" Hey babe, I was looking for you." This guy came up to Lulu and kissed her on the cheek. He turned around so I could get a good look at his face. Oh my Goodness. She is dating Tom Daley.
Tom Daley.
" Oh hi. I'm Tom Daley, but just call me Tom." He held out his hand and I gladly shook it. I can't believe that they were dating.
