Chapter 11
Who called her? Who could make her faint? Why did she react like that? So many questions roamed through my head but I had answers for none. I can't even be with her . The doctors won't even let me in the room with her. I need to know that she is okay. I care too much for her to let her be alone.
" Hi, I need to see Hailey Graham."
She looked back at her computer, scroling through the pages.
"I'm sorry sir, but she is under recovery. No one can disturb her at this time."
Anger grew in my eyes. I pounded my fists against the table, causing everyone in the waiting room to look over at me. I leaned in closer to her, so now our faces were inches apart.
" I'm going to see Hailey now, and you won't stop me."
Fear grew in her eyes, while nger grew more in mine. I didn't mean to be a monster towards her but I needed to her.
" Sir, you cannot see her now."
" But I need to! Now tell me what room she is in!"
" Security, is need in the front."
She spoke into a phone. Security arrived in no time and had me escorted out of the hospital. They threw me out and I sprinted toward the doors, but they closed them just in time for me not to get in. I sat down on the first step of the stairs. I was there for a few minutes, that felt like hours and I felt a ringing in my pocket. It wasn't my phone though, it was Hailey's. I didn't even check the ID.
" You even DARE call this number again, I'll have you put in jail myself! Don't call here again and if you even think of coming near Hailey, I'll kill you. You have no right to be calling Hailey. Look where we are now! In the hospital because of you!"
" Who are you to talk to me like that?!"
I recognized the romian accent, Hailey told me one time that her coach was from Romania.
" Sir, I'm so sorry, I must have mistaken you for someone else."
"Yes, you did. Why are you answering Hailey's phone? Why are you in the hospital? Is Haiey okay? What happened to her?"
I didn't know how to explain it to him. I can't just tell him that someone called her and she fainted. It isn't that simple.
" Where are you now? Is Hailey with you?" He said causing me to break from my thoughts.
" I'm in the hospital with Hailey. I'm not exactly with her now, she is in her room."
I gave him the directions and the name of the hospital.
I waited and waited for him, and the longer I waited the more nervous I got. What if I just cost Hailey her spot back. It was my fault in the first place that got her kicked out, and it can't happen again. A car pulled up and two people walked out. I'm guessing it was Bella and her other coach.
" This is all you fault. If it wasn't for you, she wouldn't be here. Because of you, she probably can't even compete in the Olympics Trials."
" This is NOT my fault! I would never hurt her! She is my entire world!"
What did I just say? Hailey, my entire world?"
" Don't say that. You don't know what love is! You don't love Hailey!"
I was about to fight back when..
" Excuse me, the person who is assisting Hailey can come see her now. "
I started making my way up to the doors, but Bella held me back.
" What are you doing? Let go of me!"
