Sun light. Morning sun light. It lit the church around us as my heavy eyelids tried to close once more. I was sat cross-legged in the center of my mattress with my wings fallen to my sides and my hands limp in my lap. But, as sleep summoned me once more, my head drooped forward. "Hey, it's morning." Loki's words woke me yet again, my head snapping up at his sudden words and movement as he stood up off of his seat on the edge of my mattress. "You stayed awake, well done." He smirked with a sense of achievement lacing his words.

"Yeah, woo hoo!" I tiredly mumbled returning to my normal sarcastic self, making him laugh.

He keeled down in front of me and examined my face, placing a hand upon my forehead gently, "You're looking a lot better, probably well enough to get some sleep, but you should hurry since the numb-nuts'll be here soon-ish to check up on you. They were worried last night so I expect they'll get here early." I smiled as thanks and literally fell to the bed but, before I could close my eyes, I heard the church door open and several sets of feet rush in. "Speak of the devils." Loki joked as I sighed in annoyance and lazily sat back up, turning around to see the brothers with worried frowns on their faces upon seeing me.

They both walked over to my bed quickly, but I just give them a smile as Sam spoke up, "Hey, how you feeling?"

"Tired," I admitted, only half joking, "but I'm not all dazed anymore, and the bruises have become a dull ache." I paused, "Mainly tired though."

They both gave a relieved smile as Dean thankfully mumbled, "That's good kid."

I gave a breathy laugh, "Yeah." I looked over at Loki and saw him look at my wings. I still couldn't move them, but I didn't want to worry the boys and I had more important things on my mind. I need to ask. Before I got to even think about asking my nagging question a new one became the priority as I counted the number of people in the room. My smile faded to a worried frown, "Where's Castiel?"

The brother's laughed at my reasonable concern but Dean explained, "He's angel proofing our motel room for us."

I ignored the fact that and angel was putting up angel proofing and continued with my concern, "Right it's just that last time he was missing he got kidnapped and I had to go save him." I reminded them making Dean's amused smile fade slightly.

"Good point." Dean admitted with a thinking nod, "Cas?" The familiar flutter of wings was heard, and I immediately calmed down, letting out a sigh of relief when I spotted the trench-coat-wearing angel appear next to Dean.

Loki laughed at my concern again, "You're always too worried about others, you're the one you should focus on for once." I playfully glared at him, but I could barely look him in the eye as the question played on repeat in my mind like a mantra.

Of course, Loki noticed my frown and the fact I couldn't look at him, joining me in my frowning, "Hey Sweets, what's wrong?" I involuntarily glared at him seriously before looking at the others, my expressions hard.

"Staying up all night gave me plenty of time to my thoughts. I went over all the events of yesterday over and over but there was one thing I couldn't wrap my head around." I explained, already having gone over what I would say and how I would ask my question more than a thousand times.

"What's that?" Dean asked, his detached voice filled with confusion.

"What did Uncle mean?" I asked turning to look at Loki, but Sam was the one who spoke.

"What do you mean?" he questioned, pulling my gaze over to him.

"I was dazed and collapsed on the floor, 'Loki'—" my voice added air quotes around his name, "—had just made his overly dramatic entrance and proudly announced Uncle's angel name and..." I trailed off, my eyes flitting over the faces of all the boys that surrounded me and listened intently, "And then Uncle said, 'well done Gabriel'." The moment I said the name, they all looked at Loki with widened eyes and he twitched, tensing in shock. "Then he said something about getting the attention of an 'archangel'." I looked at Loki straight in the eyes with a hardened gaze and furrowed brow, "So I repeat, what did Uncle mean?" Loki looked away immediately, not wanting to answer so, after a moment of glaring at him, I turned to look at the others to try and get my answer from them.
