Thunder

You and Shiro were getting ready for bed.

You had decided to invite him over for a sleepover.

He's been your best friend ever since you could remember.

"Comfy Shiro?"

You asked, looking down at him with a smile on your face.

You put a spare matress in your room for him to sleep on.

He smiled back.

"Yeah."

He couldn't help but blush from your cute smile.

Shiro has liked you since you were both kids.

And since he was afraid of ruining your friendship with him, he didn't want to tell you.

If he couldn't be your boyfriend, then he'd rather just be friends with you than mean nothing to you at all.

"Cool, goodnight Shiro. Sweet dreams~"

You giggle as you pull the covers over yourself.

He chuckles.

"Goodnight Y/N."

Before Shiro pulled the covers over himself he looked out the window and noticed that it looked like there was gonna be a thunderstorm.

He shrugged, not thinking much of it and went to sleep.

You awoke to the sound of thunder.

You looked out the window to see a dark and cloudy sky while it poored down rain.

BOOM.

You quickly pulled the covers over your head once you heard the crash of thunder.

You began to shake while under the covers.

Shiro finally woke up from hearing the thunder.

He looked over at you, only to see you curled up in your blanket.

More thunder came, and Shiro saw you flinch.

He came to your side.

"Y/N? Are you okay?"

You stayed under the covers.

"I'm fine."

You said, your voice shaky.

"You never told me you were scared of thunder."

"I'm not scared, I'm just cold-

BOOM

You flinched under the covers again and this time you began to whimper.

Shiro slowly pulled the covers off of your face, to see tears coming out of your eyes.

You looked away from him.

"Don't look at me, I'm pathetic..."

Shiro gave you a reassuring smile.

"There's nothing pathetic about being afraid Y/N. It's what makes us human."

You looked up at him.

"So... You don't care that I'm scared of thunder?"

He shook his head.

"Would you like me to sleep next to you?"

He asked.

You quickly nod your head.

Shiro smiled and lay next to you, pulling the covers over himself.

You moved closer to him as you heard thunder in the distance.

Shiro gently grabbed your hand which made you look up at him.

He couldn't help but blush.

"When you hear the thunder and get scared, just squeeze my hand, okay?"

You blush lightly but nod.

"Thank you Shiro."

You smile up at him.

"But, when I get scared, can I do this instead?"

You took a deep breath and then gently kissed him on the lips.

Shiro's eyes widened in surprise, but he kissed back.

There was more thunder, but this time you didn't flinch or feel any fear.

Once air became a problem you both slowly pull away.

Shiro looked down at you, blushing madly.

"Y-You... Like me?"

He asked, almost in disbelief.

You blush.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done it."

Shiro looked into your eyes and smiled.

"Its okay, I like you too."

You blush a darker shade of pink, but you smile anyway.

"Thank you for chasing the thunder away Shiro."

You say and giggle.

Shiro chuckles.

"I'll do it a thousand times if I have to."

He gently kisses your forehead, and pulls you closer to him.

You smile and snuggle into his chest.

"Night Shiro~"

"Goodnight Y/N, sweet dreams~"

You giggle.

"Hey that's my line."

That was probably one of the most cheesiest shit I've ever written (-_-')
