5 - HawkSilver: Trust Fall: Quick Catch Me!

"This is stupid." I grumbled as Steve herded us all to the training room at exactly the Ass Crack of Dawn O'clock (it was really 6:00 a.m. but that's still too early in my humble opinion).

"Quit complaining Clint, this is a team building exercise, and God only know how bad we fucking need it." Steve replied while clapping a strong hand on my back

"Come on old man it'll be fun!" Pietro yelled as he zoomed past us into the room.

"I'm sure it's illegal to be that active this damn early, also please tell me we have coffee down here Cap." Tony mumbled.

"I've got you a thermos full of coffee if you cooperate." Steve answered.

"Fiiiiiiine, just gimme. What do I have to do?" Tony complied.

"Ok everyone, I want you all to for a circle and spread it out for me. Awesome. Now I'm going to pair you guys up and you will then move around with your partner and do the same exercise Tony and I are about to show you." Steve ordered around.

"Alright, Tony you're with me, Thor and Bruce, Wanda and Natasha, Sam and Bucky, and finally Clint and Pietro. Vision you will be in charge of making sure that no one trades partners and that no one is INTENTIALLY hurt. I'm looking at you two Sam and Buck." Steve finished off.

"Now, we'll be doing a simple trust building exercise." Cap explained.

We all stood in silence waiting for further instruction. Cap quietly observed us while Tony absentmindedly swung his arms around clearly not paying attention when suddenly we heard Steve yell out "TRUST FALL!". Cap through himself in the general direction of Tony. We all saw the panicked look on poor Tony as he dove in to try and at least catch Steve's upper body before he hit the ground.

"What the fuck Steven?! What the actual fuck! You could have hurt yourself, you could have gave your stupid blonde self a fucking concussion!" Tony angrily yelled as he squeezed Steve's head to his chest.

"You'll suffocate me if you don't let go soon Tony. Plus I TRUSTED that you would catch me." Steve chuckled.

After about a minute of two, Tony finally let go of Steve, dusted himself off and made his way to the coffee thermos. We all stood there for a few more seconds before we began to move around to allow us all more space to do the stupid trust fall. Honestly what were we? Children? This was ridiculous. Plus how was I expected to 'trust' that immature speedster? Hell no, I was definitely NOT doing this exercise.

I felt Pietro zoom past me towards the farthest corner of the room and began to make my way towards him.

"Alright I'm going to stand here and you're going to pretend I'm not here ok. We just have to wait for Steve to call time." I grumbled out.

Pietro stared unblinking at me for a second before he yelled out "TRUST" and flung himself over. As I saw him start to fall I noticed that his head was aiming directly towards the pillar next to me. I rushed towards him and just before his head struck the pillar I slid my arm under him and pulled him towards my chest making us both tumble over with him landing on top of me.

"Bet you didn't see that coming, did ya?" Pietro grinned down.

"I really hate you and this stupid exercise." I replied dryly as Pietro giggled and made himself comfortable on top of me.

"You know, you're pretty fast for an old guy, pretty strong too." Prieto commented as he poked my chest.

I rolled my eyes and pushed him off of me. "Come kid looks like it's time to go" I said as I noticed the other Avengers piling out of the room.

We made our way to the doors where Steve stood congratulating us for not killing each other.

I made my way towards my room planning to shower and then go look for some breakfast. I made my way to my connected bathroom, stripped and hopped in the shower. 10 mins later I stepped out and wrapped my fluffy purple towel around my waist and made my way out to get dressed. I made my way to my closet and suddenly I noticed Pietro casually laying down on my bed. Needless to say, I let out a very many yell. Super manly.

Pietro laughed and made towards me. "Hey oldie wanna head out to breakfast with us when you're done?" He asked as he stopped right in front of me, biting his lip  ask he eyed my chest.

"I'm feeling like breakfast is already here." I smirked as I saw him blush.

"But first," I paused, "TRUST FALL! Quick catch me!" I yelled as I threw myself at the startled speedster.

Pietro zoomed in front of me and I felt his arms wrap around me bringing us chest to chest as we sunk onto my bed.

"Not bad." I murmured as I nipped playfully at his ear. I heard him moan softly and chuckled.

"Stop teasing me." Pietro whined.

I laughed as I brought my face down to his and placed a tender kiss on his lips.

"Bet YOU didn't see THAT coming did you?" I ask playfully.

"Honestly no, but you didn't see me taking your towel off either so it's a win." Pietro giggled. "Now kiss me again why don't you Mr. Barton."

"I'll always catch you Speedy, even when you're being annoying. You'll always be mine to catch." and with that said we kissed again completely forgetting about breakfast and the others waiting downstairs. Pietro might be annoying and too eccentric for me but I would always be there for him. He's got me wrapped around his finger and I had definitely not seen that coming but I was happy nonetheless.
