"You got 5 minutes exactly." I say into the phone once Tray leaves.
"Airi, I-" He starts to say.
"Pause your time hasn't started yet." I say stopping him. "Now you can talk."
"Airi I didn't realize what I was doing, I don't know what I was thinking to do such a dumb thing and I really need you." He says.
Last night he texted me and asked if he could redeem himself but I'll be damned if he thinks he can just hop right into my life again.
"Listen, I love you more than anything in the world and I'll die if I lose you." He says.
"Jordan, I put every wall and gate down for you. Do you know how hard that was?!" I say walking out to the hallway outside.
"I know." He says.
"Jordan, when I'm done, I'm done." I say.
"Bye, Jordan." I say and hang up. I try to quietly walk back into the house but Tray was sitting on the couch.
"Hey!" I say nervously.
"Sup." He says not looking away from He TV.
"I'm gonna go out soon. Watch over the house for me." I say grabbing my purse.
"Where?" He asks.
"Out." I say.
"I'm coming." He says getting up.
"No you're not." I say.
"Airi, I'm coming." He says in a way I haven't heard yet. It sent chills up and down my back as he got up looking at his phone.
"Um, ok. Let's go." I say getting the door. Before I open it Tray comes incredibly close and my breath stops for a minute until he pulls the door open and gestures for me to walk out.
Get yourself together Airi. Whew!
