You've come here looking for a story. You assume it's going to be cliche and cringe worthy, most likely some dumb 'good girl meets bad boy' thing. I can spare you that, I can also spare you the sappy dumb romance because this story is different, promise me.

It's one hell of a story for me to tell.

*

In a common, cliche 'new girl' scenario, she walks into her new school on the first day and everyone looks at her, some in awe and some in disgust. Everything turns out OK when she gets a hot mysterious boyfriend and a good group of misfit friends.

Yeah, that's not for me.

No, I had to walk into school twenty minutes late after moving and sorting things out for the whole first semester. And not only was I starting the school year late, I was sick the first week I was supposed to be there. And I was 20 minutes late.

I was still slightly sick and looked like total shit, but still, I managed to actually be there. Just, late.

In every possible way.

I walked in wearing black skinny jeans and cat sweater, not exactly my best outfit but I needed to comfort right then.

I walked to the front desk and told them my sob story, and as I walked in I ran into two guys walking out. Two identical guys, except one had a helluva lot of tattoos with lilac dyed hair and the other was just, normal.

"Sorry, did we blind you with our beauty?" The normal one spoke up, a large grin forming on his face, as if he was surprised he could make such a good remark.

"More like your horrific looks, blondie."

I looked at them for as long as I could without considering it to be checking them out. Blondie was wearing a nirvana shirt and some ripped jeans. The lilac one was wearing a shirt that I totally loved, but I'd probably never tell him. It read 'destroy yourself, see who gives a fuck.'

"Isn't there a dress code here? I'm pretty sure thats breaking it."

They both smiled. That was really creepy, honestly.

"We would have no idea. We're newbies around here."

And that was when I picked up accents. Australian, maybe?

"Yeah, well schools generally have a dress code here, but I wouldn't know either. I'm new too."

"And why are you starting school so late?"

I cocked my head a bit at lilac's question.

"Why are you?"

He scoffed and blondie laughed at him.

"I like her, lets ditch with her."

Blondie went wide eyed when lilac said that.

"Leo, are you freaking crazy? One, you just mentioned the fact that we were going to ditch right in front of the office, and two, we just met her! She could be a murder or something!"

I sighed and told Lilac, or uh, Leo, that I'd be more than happy to.

"You guys are insane."

"I'm Samantha, by the way. I go by Sam."

Leo smiled and nudged blondie. Blondie snapped out of his daze and cleared his throat.

"I'm Luke and that's Leo, yeah.."

They exchanged words for a second before turning to face me again.

"Shall we?" They asked in unison. Nope, still creepy.

I nodded and Leo Linked my arm with his as Luke went on the other side of me and did the same.

"We do it with smiles on our faces."

"You freakin weirdo, quoting Fall Out Boy and whatnot."

"Don't judge me!"
