Taurtis sighed. He was currently 18 years old, and at the age of 15, he'd get his soulmate. He waited, for three long years, but it never happened. Sam found his soulmate, which it turned out to be Dom. Yuki found Chan as her soulmate, Jay and... Grian. Taurtis was sure that Grian would be his soulmate, but sadly it didn't happen. He looked down at the red, torn piece of thread that wrapped around his finger. He laid on his bed, his bedroom dark. It was a sunny day, but Taurtis wanted the curtains to block out the sun and let the darkness consume his once cheerful self.
Taurtis barely left his room, barely slept. Everyone at school was worried sick about him, especially Grian. Grian was currently leaving the shower, brushing the towel around his damp hair. Of course, he was dressed. He wouldn't walk around the house naked.
Grian placed the towel down into the laundry shoot and looked at Taurtis' bedroom door. He sighed and lightly knocked on the door. "T-Taurtis..? can you open the door?" he asked, waiting for a response. A few moments later, the raven-haired male opens the door. Grian looked shocked. Taurtis had dark bags under his eyes, very skinny, and his hair was greasy "What do you want..?" the raven-haired man asked, tiredly. Grian placed a hand on Taurtis' face, only it being slapped away. Taurtis glared at him, "don't fucking touch me. We don't want your soulmate getting so mad that I'm here letting you touch me." Taurtis scolded and he turned around, not wanting to talk to Grian anymore. Grian stood there, shocked. he finally got the courage and push Taurtis onto his bedroom floor, sitting on him. Taurtis growled, "GRIAN GET THE HELL OFF ME." He yelled and struggled to get the brit off him. "No! I have to tell you that Jay isn't my soulmate!" Grian yelled and Taurtis stopped fighting almost instantly. "B-but.," he muttered and Grian sighed, getting off Taurtis. "I turned out that Jay belonged to Geode... Something went wrong I guess..." He muttered. Taurtis stared at him, eyes widened. He slowly sat up, still staring at Grian with shock. "S-so what now...?" Taurtis asked, his dark eyes full of shock and hope. He seen a faint red glow, looked down, and noticed that his and Grian's red string connected together. Both Taurtis and Grian looked at the string, shocked. "How could we...?"
Grian shrugged, and he took a deep breath in, which was rather shaky. Taurtis stared at him for a minute, trying to exactly process what was happening. Three fucking years of pain, and in the last month of this year I found out Grian is my soulmate. Taurtis thought. All he could do was hug Grian, making the brit hug back almost instantly. "I'm... glad you're my soulmate," Taurtis muttered, making the tension awkward. Grian snickered, "Stop making everything so awkward.." he muttered, making Taurtis giggle. Taurtis gently pressed his lips against Grian's cheek.
"Guys, I'm hom--" Sam muttered and stopped, staring at the two in shock. "Oh geez..." Grian muttered and buried his face into Taurtis' shoulder, trying to hide the fact he was embarrassed. Taurtis nervously giggled and Sam squealed. "I heard about the Geode incident, and felt bad for Grian, but now I find out you two were soulmates!" Sam quickly said, Taurtis barely understanding what he said. Sam ran outside, screaming for Dom to get inside before it rains.
Taurtis sighed and looked up, staring at his ceiling.
