Anxiety. Major anxiety is all i feel as I walk into my new school. No one is gonna talk to me, even though I stand out. I'm the new girl. The emo suicidal teen with tattoos are piercings. I tried to look nice today. Nirvana crop top and light blue high wasted skinny jeans, black vans and very light makeup. Nothing like I normally wear. I take a couple steps in the school and I already bump into someone. "im sorry" I say quietly before walking away. I caught a quick glimpse of what he looked like, about 5'6, face tattoos, he was kinda cute. Nice to know I'm not the only one with a face tattoo here. I walk to the office and get my schedule. 1st hour- science
2nd hour- gym
3rd hour- math
4th- study hall, okay I can do that one
5th hour- free period
Oh cool, I've never had a free period before.I walk to my first period and immediately see the guy. The one I bumped into just like 10 minutes ago. He makes eye contact with me and a little smile plays on his lips. I walk up to the teacher so I don't have to end up talking to him. Whoever he is. "Hello Mr. uhhh" I try to remember his name but all I can think about is that boy. "Davis, it's mr. Davis. You are...?" I look at him, he's tall and slender. Blonde hair blue eyes. He looks maybe early 20's? Quite young for a teacher but hey I don't judge. "Avari Martinez" He holds out his hand for me to shake. I hesitate a lil bit but shake it. "Alright so you must be coming to me to find your seat?" He smiles and looks up. "Diego, Tyler please sit in your seats" I look over to see who he was talking to. It's the boy and his friend. His friend has more tattoos then him.. and he's taller. Maybe 6'2-3ish. "Alright Avari, your seat will be right behind Diego and next to Tyler." I nod and start to walk over. "Oh and be careful with them, they like to cause trouble" he tells me before I walk away. I take my seat and pull out my notebook. I write all my raps and stuff in here. It's pretty personal. I feel a tap on my shoulder and look back to see Diego handing me a paper. I take it and open it,
Hey, you're pretty cute. I'm Diego btw.
I smile and decide to write back to him.

I hand the paper back to him and try to focus on the lecture. Diego hands me the paper once again but this time he's looking at Tyler and smiling. I open it and two numbers are written down. I quietly fold the paper and mouth "I'll add these in a lil bit" both of them nod and I go back to listening to the lecture peacefully writing lyrics down. I'm working on a new rap about my anxiety. Man that's all I can seem to think about today. Before I know it the bell rings and the rustle of backpacks and kids fill my ears. I feel two figures standing over me and I glance up to look at Diego and Tyler. "Nice stuff you got written down, have you ever tried to produce on SoundCloud?" Tyler questions. Whats SoundCloud? I think as I slowly shake my head. "Do you not talk?" Diego Asks. "I talk... I'm just super anxious. sorry" he gives me a pitiful smile. "It's okay, here at LAHS (idk if that's a school) we get kids who are anxious all the time. Before you were in this class we had a dude named.." he looks at Tyler to see if he remembers. "Jonah Matthews" Tyler reminds him. Diego snaps and smiles again. "Oh yea, anyway Jonah threw up his first day and I guess got extremely embarrassed because he's gone now.." that's gonna make me feel better.. I stand up and put my stuff in my backpack and start to walk out. I hear shoes coming after me and a hand try to grab my wrist. "Hey hey hey, I didn't mean to scare you... I'm sorry." Diego looks at me and says. Sorry for what? I give him a questioning look and try to walk away but he grabs me. "Where are you going?" I try to remember what my next class was.. "gym" I quietly say. Quieter than I wanted. Why am I so shy around him? "Oh cool, I have gym too! I'll walk with ya. You can meet my other friend, Jesse. He's just like me and Tyler but a lil better of a guy.." he chuckles. Oh gosh... I dunno if I wanna meet anyone else.
Oh man, I've been writing a lot of stories lately... I like this one and Diego's lil girl...
