It'll Be Ok

Misaka's POV

I was running, running to find Toka. I had lost track of her while I was chasing her. Damn. I can't believe my Dad did something like that.

I kept running. I looked all over trying to find her. I cupped my hands over my mouth and shouted. "TOKA WHERE ARE YOU!" no response except angry neighbors shouting because of the inturuption. I didn't care, I'm just trying to find Toka and have her come back.

Toka's POV

I ran, ran as fast as I could just to get away from Raven. The twit, acting like nothing happend until I said something.
I had stooped at the hill me and Misaka first met. I looked at it for a while and started going up it. Once I reached the peak of the hill I just stood there. Looking at nothing.

I had decided to sit in the tree on the hill. Doing nothing, but thinking. Why? Why him? Why did he have to be here? Why did it have to be me? Who knows. I do know that I don't want to see him at the moment.

Misaka's POV

I didn't know where else to look. I had looked all over the neighborhood and no sign of Toka anywhere. I had one more place to look, hopefully she's there.

I walked to the hill where I met Toka. I started going up it. Once I got to the top I saw Toka, just sitting in the tree, doing nothing. "Toka!" She turn and looked at me blankly. "Yes? What is it?" She said. "May you come down so I can talk to you?" I asked. She sighed and jumped on the ground. I walked near the tree and stood in front of it. Toka sat on the ground with her back on the tree. I sat next to her. "Want to tell me what happened?" I asked. "Not really, but might as well."she stated. "Mainly, you father. Or, Dr. Raven, gave me my powers, but in a painful way. So when I saw him, I wanted to hurt him, or run, I don't really know what I felt at that time I just didn't want to see him." Toka explained. "I see, because he hurt you, you didn't want to see him.. well I don't think he's going to be around anymore, at the house, that is." I explained. "I guess, I just don't want to see him." Toka said. "I know, I know." Hmm, we should be heading back." I stated. "Hm I guess.." Toka said. "Lets go." I said. Toka nods and stands up. I do the same and smile.

We started walking down the hill. I had tripped on a rock and started falling. Before I hit the ground, I felt someone catch me. I look up to see that Toka had caught me. "S-sorry!" I exclaimed. "Its fine, just be careful." She said blankly. I nodded and stood up. "Hehe, let's continue going home." I said feeling emarassed. She nodded and kept walking.

Toka's POV

As we were walking I found out that Misaka is clumsy but, it's just her, I can't change her. She seems nice though. Guess I'll find out the more I hang out with her. I let out a sigh. "Hm? You okay?" Misaka asked. "Yes, I'm fine, just bored." I explained. All she gave in responce was an oh. I could do something, might as well. I levitated in the air. "Hey! You can't do that! Someone might see!" Misaka yelled. "I don't care at the moment." I said as I picked her up. "Hey! Put me down!" She kept yelling. "Would you be quiet for a second?" I asked. She stopped yelling and asked, "So what ARE you doing?" Hm what am I doing? "I don't really know, just bored." I awnsered. I started going higher in the air with Misaka in my arms. Let's see what's around here to look at.

Misaka's POV

Toka is holding me?! Why? I don't know, she said she was bored.

She was soaring through the sky doing what ever when I spotted a beach. It looked pretty. I pointed at it. "Hey Toka. Go over there." I said. "Hm? Why?" She asked. "You'll like it, I promise!" I announced. "Alright then." She said and started going towards the beach.

Once we got to the beach Toka sat me down. The ocean looked beautiful with its high waves, as the sun was setting. Toka walked towards the water. "Toka! You might no-." It was to late, Toka had gotten splashed with a wave and was now soaked.

"What the hell?!" Toka shouted.

"HAHAH!"

"DON'T LUAGH! WHAT WAS THAT?!"

"It was a wave, I tried warning you but you got splashed before I could finish, and now you all wet!" I explained while luaghing. Toka grumbled and rolled her eyes. "This is annoying." She said while running her hand through her hair and turned to look at me revealing her other eye. She looked really nice. "Wow," was all I said. "What was that?" She asked. "Oh, Um I-I didn't say anything." I stuttered. "Okay?" She said. "Ehehe we should head back now." I said a little emarassed. "Ok then." Toka said while levitating and picking me up again.

Toka started going back to the house. But, while we were in the air my clothes got wet from when Toka had gotten splashed, so it wasn't the most comfortable ride, but was due able.

Once we got to the house Toka placed me down and went to open the door. She hesitated. "Its ok, open it." I said while smiling at her. She nodded and opened the door revealing my Mom waiting for us sitting on the couch. We both walked in with no sign of my father, which was good. "Why are you two wet?" My Mom asked. "We went to the beach and Toka got wet!" I said holding in a laugh. "Ok? But, Why are you wet?" She asked while pointing at me. "Oh Toka was carrieing me and I got wet from her being wet." I explained. "Heh, Why was she carrieing you?" She asked. "Well Toka used her power to take us there! You know the beach is like 20 minutes from us, right? I didn't want to walk!" I said. "Oh, that makes more scince. But Toka you need to be more careful with using your powers in public, okay? What if someone saw you?" She explained. Toka nodded and said "I understand, I'll be more careful next time."
"Good. Now you two go change." Mom said. And with that we went upstairs to look for some clothes.
