Miskas POV

It's the next day and me and Toka are at school, sitting in class waiting for the teacher to come in. "So Toka," I state. She looks at me and nods. "Like it here so far?" I ask tilting my head a little. "Yea I guess, i don't really mind it here." She says blankly. Toka isn't really one for emotion is she? Looks like I'll have to help her out with that in the long run.

The teacher walks in signaling for everyone to sit down and take their books out. "Alright everyone, get out your notebook we are taking a lot of note today so be prepared." The teacher say. I groan and take out my notebook, I hate it when we take long notes they hurt my hand. Everyone but Toka took out their notebooks  ready to write. She's lucky she doesn't need to do any of this, then again, she probably already knows all of this.

We are about thirty minutes in and my hand is killing me I mean, when an I really going to use any of this? I look over at Toka to see how she's doing. I expected her to have her normal blank face and leaning on her desk mood going on, but instead, she was sitting up straight and looking at the board with her eyes darting fire left to right.  Wow, guess she didn't know this, she took interest that's good. I go back to taking my notes. "Okay. We are going to be doing cl-," the teacher was inturuped by the intercom sounding off and the principle on the other line saying in a shaky voice. "We are in lock down! T-this is not a drill! I repeat n-not a drill! Lock your rooms and cover a-any and all windows! I repeat this is not a drill!" Everyone in the room started panicking and screaming. I look back at Toka only to see her sitting calmly in her chair leaned on her desk, I stand up. "Come on Toka! We've got to get to the back of the room!" I practically shout. She looks at me with a blank stare, "why? I  don't see a problem." She say. I grab her arm and drag her to the back of the classroom and sit on the ground pulling Toka down so she's sitting next to me.

People are still freaking out, I wonder what caused the lockdown in the first place, the principle sounded scared too. Now I'm worried. What if something really bad happen to us? What if we all get ingured? I think Toka noticed I started freaking out and grabbed my hand squeezing it gently. It did make me feel calmer I have to say, but everyone else is still out of place.

The teacher walks over to everyone and says, "Everyone, please remain calm, I doubt anything is going to happen. I'm sure it's just a precaution." If it was a precaution why did the principle sound so concerned? Did someone get into the building?! "Calm down," Toka says. I look at her. "But. Something bad could happen!" I shout in a quiet voice. She stands up, "What are you doing?" I ask. "I'm going to go check so you quit worrying." She says. "Toka you ca-," I was inturuped by the teacher shushing me. "Toka please sit back down," the teacher asked. Toka shook her head. "I will go out there to check so she doesn't worry." She said with a blank stare directed at the teacher. "You can't, you'll get yourself hurt." The teacher said trying to convince Toka to stay.  Toka kneels down in front of me holding her hand out. "You coming?" She asked. I went to grab her hand but pulled back. "Toka we can't, it's dangerous." I say. "Do you not trust me?" Toka says looking straight into my eyes. "N-no! That's not it.. you could get hurt." I say stumbling on my words. Toka sighs, "Come on then, you come with me so I can show you I won't get hurt." She says as she grabs my hand. "T-toka!" I shout trying to let go of her hand only to be pulled up by her as she stands. "Come on." She says walking over to the door. "Get back over here now!" The teacher yells. Toka ignores her and keeps walking to the door. I try resisting Toka, but it's not working, she's too strong. "T-Toka! W-we can't! It's too dangerous, even for someone like you!" I practically shout. She stares at me, "Do you doubt my abilities?" She ask. I shake my head side to side. "No! It's just.. I don't want you getting hurt.." I say quietly while looking down. Toka sighs, "Well, I'm more worried about you for the time being, so let's go." She says while opening the door.

The teacher runs over to Toka, "You cant do that!!" The teacher yells grabbing Tokas arm. Toka looks back at her. "What are you doing?" She asks with a blank stare. "You can't go out there. You don't know who's out there, and you can get hurt!" The teacher says trying to convince Toka to stay but all Toka does is stare at her. "I'm not worried about me. I'm more worried about her and her safety, that's my job, if I happen to help everyone else then so be it. I don't really care for everyone else." The teacher looks at Toka in shock for what she said. "T-thats insensitive! And whoever's out there is most likely stronger than you! So stop this nonsense and go s-" she was cut off. "I don't care. So shut up." Toka says taking her arm back. "I'm going and she's coming with." She says walking out the door dragging me with her. The teacher shouts again, but Toka only ignores it and shuts the door. I assume she used her powers to lock the door because she wiggled the knob and it wouldn't budge.

"Come on let's go." Toka says dragging me. I guess there's no turning back now.
