You woke up to the sound of humans, getting up caused you to hit your head on the bark of the tree you fell asleep on. At the impact you let out a snort of agony as you continued to slither out of your position. You were a hobo ogre, like most ogres at 10 years old your parents kicked you out, expecting you to mate and recreate to further expand the ever decreasing population of ogres. However, you haven't sound the suitable mate. In order to find a husband you signed up for a boarding school in America.
That's where the hunters came in, ogres signed a peace treaty with the leader of America, Trump, allowing him to build a wall, separating Ogres and Humans, letting them naturalize if they wish to get the education many ogres lack. Not everyone agrees with that peace treaty, some people are terrified of ogres and other kill them for sport.
Yesterday, while hunting for meat, you found these hunters and they chased you, you managed to run away but at the expense of losing your prey. You were exhausted, hungry, dirty, and thirsty. To make the situation even worse- it was your first day of school and you overslept.
Rushing into the mud, you let out a small cute fart and quickly washed yourself. You had no genitals (how you reproduce will be revealed later) this was different from most ogres- in fact, you were an outcast against both humans and ogres your appearance was different from the norm and it was all the more reason you are disliked. The no-genitals thing wasn't a completely horrible thing though, you had no need for clothes.
Snapping out of your thoughts you hurried and ate a small frog and hurried to the school. Twas a chance to start anew without worries, you only wanted a mate but you would make the most of your time at school. It was truly a privilege to get an education for ogres- it was practically unheard of. In fact, the program started this year. Your school, Land Far, Far, Away High School was the first to accept this program. The school was quite friendly to ogres- hell, you heard there was even a ogre teacher there, but you were hesitant to believe that the students would be so welcoming.
As you walked into the city the glances given at you weren't so varied. You gained looks of disgust, fear, anger, confusion, and the occasional look of sympathy. 'So much for being the most ogre friendly city,' you thought. You kept your head to the ground, you didn't want to see the glares- all of it tired you, the only thing that kept you going was a future. A future that possibly didn't exist.
The gate to the school was right open- you hesitated but stepped right in. It was beautiful you had to admit. Your taste was different from other ogres, this fancy building suited the said taste, whereas other ogres would be revolted at the magnificent sight.
Surprisingly most of the kids smiled at you, and out let out a small smile back and waved a bit. Distracted, you suddenly bumped into someone and your heart stopped. She was gorgeous she was a pretty, soft pink color and she had flowing blond hair with flowers braided in it. She wore a pastel pink potato sack and a neon purple school uniform vest. You quickly were snapped out of your daze when her face confronted into a smirk.
"Whos this newbie?" She asked. I haven't seen you around.
"Uh!!! I'm (Y/N)! N-nice to meet you!" You were shy but you were polite enough to respond.
"Oi, nice to meet ya too, I'm your senior the names Emily" She let her smirk fall into a soft smile.
You nodded and but paused and tilted. "Your an ogre- how have you already been here?" you decided to get the question off your mind.
"Ah! Right, I'm one of the human teacher's adopted daughter- she was here since last year so I got to be here before the program," she paused but then continued, "I'm really glad about the program though! It really is quite lonely here. Although most students are nice, you don't really want to be treated special because they think you're cool.." she explained.
"What's with the italics on 'most'?"you asked.
"Huh? Italics? Not sure what your talking about but- there are the occasional bullies. You won't have to worry about em' though! I'll protect you! If anyone is bothering you tell me and I'll beat them up for you girl!"she exclaimed proudly
You let out a small giggle, Emily seemed like quite the nice ogre, it had only been a bit, maybe 16 minutes but you felt like you found a real friend- not like her.. She made you lose your trust for humans but you'd rather not think of her right now. Just the thought bothered you.
You waved to her, she had already gotten her schedule but you needed yours. So you walked to the front office.
"You must be (Y/N) no?" The front desk lady asks.
"Y-yes! That would be me!"you said nervously.
"It's alright dear, no need to be afraid, I won't harm you," she smiled reassuringly before handing over a piece of paper. "Come see me if you have any concerns dear."
"Right! T-Thank you!" You bowed politely before checking your list.
Block 1: Art Mr. Woods Room 114
Art? Are you kidding me? 'This was going to be a long day' you thought before scurrying to wherever 'Room 114' was. I mean- you were an ogre, ogres can't exactly read.
You ended up having to embarrassedly ask a nearby teacher and after getting lost a few more times ended up in the doorway to your new start.
*RING*
'Ah! Just in time too!' I panted as I walked into the new room. I gained stares from every direction.
This was only the beginning to a new story.
