As the knife was thrown, it went passed my face and into the wall behind me. My eyes widened as I felt the stinging pain, 'its happening again' I thought as I ran to my room. 'why? Why do I have to live this terrible life?' I locked my door and hugged my knees as I sat in a dark corner of my room, I suddenly heard a light tapping on my window. I looked up and saw my only friend, Kyo kun, a small smile formed on my face and I tip toed over to the window then opened it.
"what are you doing here Kyo kun?" i whispered.
"I can't stand the thought of not helping you when you're living in a place like this" he replied, my smile grew.
"arigoto Kyo kun" he smiled gently. "I'm fine" I added.
"I'm not leaving yet, I said that I'd help you didn't I?" he asked, despite knowing the answer.
I sighed and caressed his cheeks that became red "Kyo kun, i can't leave here. She is the one who has control of me legally"
"I don't care about that crap" he muttered then looked up at me with caring eyes. "I feel useless not helping my friend"
"I know but there's nothing you nor I can do to change the way I am treated by my mother" pain formed in his eyes. "I'm sorry Kyo kun" i was about to walk away an close the window however he grabbed my wrist. A grin on his face.
"There is a few things I can do to help you, you just gotta trust me is all" I smiled.
"I trust you Kyo kun" I let him gently lead me out of my window which was safe because I merely live in a 1 story house. "So what can be done about where I shall live?" I asked curiously.
"I have a large family as you know, remember when you went over to my house that one time?" he asked. Don't go nose bleeding if you're a fan girl, don't worry it wasn't like that.
A bright smile took over my once small smile, "Shigurae can help m-" he cut me off by covering my mouth with his hand, he hushed me and I quietly giggled. "sumimasen, sumimasen" I whispered putting my hands up in surrender.
He sighed "you're right, Shigurae can help you and if he wants he could go to court against your mother" I saw the determination in his eyes.
"Amaterasu!!! Get your ass out of your room now!" my mother yelled furiously, I could hear her slamming her hands on my room's door.
Kso! We have to get out of here!!
I grabbed Kyo kun's wrist firmly then made a run for it.
Finally, I am running away...I am finally free
