He paced around the room swiftly while counting by three's to ninety. He was feeling extremely anxious, and he didn't exactly undertand why. Sure, he'd been having weirder dreams than normal, but he didn't believe they were the cause of the sudden surge of anxiety.

It was eleven forty-one, and he was almost positive the others were asleep. He decided to try and drown out his anxiety by watching tv for a little while. He shakily walked out of his room and went to the kitchen for some water. Normally he avoided tap water, because he thoroughly believed that the government put things in it, but he was already too shaken up to care about it.

He sat down on the couch and turned on the Tv, trying to find something to lighten his mood.  He stumbled upon Disney XD and watched some show called, "Kickin' It." He lost himself in the show, eventually falling asleep on the couch.

~Time Skip~

It had felt like he was asleep for a few seconds, when he woke up with a start. He put a hand over his racing heart and took some deep breathes. He looked around the living room. The Tv had turned off. It was dark, too dark. Usually Patton kept his light on at night because he hated the darkness.

Virgil got up and went towards Patton's room. Something didn't feel right to him. He knocked gently on the wooden door. He heard a muffled yell from inside. "Patton..? You okay in there?" Virgil slowly opened the door.

The shock coursed through him as he saw the scene in front of him. All of his roommates were tied up in chairs. Patton had tears streaming down his face, Logan was giving a murderous glare to the man (Virgil assumed) was the culprit, and Roman was trying to fight the bonds that were holding him down. They all had duct tape covering their mouths, as well as their arms and legs, binding them together.

The man turned to him and slowly crept over. Roman, noticing how Virgil was frozen in fear, took charge of the situation. He chewed on the duct tape and spit it out quickly. "Virgil, run! Get out of here, go!" Virgil snapped back into reality, right before the man could grab him. He pushed away from the man's grasp and ran towards the front door, which was located near the kitchen. As he raced into the living room, he'd toss somethings onto the floor to put obstacles in the attackers path.

Just as Virgil got to the kitchen, ready to rush out of the apartment, a hand grabbed his leg and he fell with a crash to the floor. From Patton's room, he could hear the yells of encouragement for him and scrutiny for the intruder. The attacker pinned him down to the ground, which he struggled to free himself from. The intruder grabbed his head and slammed it roughly onto the ground, causing him to gasp at the sudden black dots that invaded his vision.

He could hear the yells of his roommates clearly now, which confused him since they were still in Patton's room.  His vision was turning black at a rapid pace. He looked the attacker in face after he heard them say something. He strained his ears to hear him a little more, which got him to hear, "Wake up, Virgil!" His eyes closed, finally deeming him unconscious.
