Chapter 10

Courtney's POV

   "What does he want? Can you even come here?"
   "He's looking for his daughter. Even the wolf king is afraid of him but the Wolf King gonna be here too. They both lost their daughters so they are searching together. There's nothing we can do. You don't have to come if you don't want to."
   "I'm not gonna not show up! Do you think I'm a p**** or something?!"
   "Don't talk to the king like that. He will have our heads."
   "He can kiss my a** for all I care."
   "Stay here please." He said walking away and of course I'm not gonna listen. Who wouldn't wanna meet the so called Dragon King. I sneak towards Theo's room and its locked so I busted the door down as quietly as I could but it was that quite. Oops? I run to Megan.
    "Follow me."
    "What no?"
    "Come on please?" She shakes her head suddenly and idea comes to mind. "I seen a horse barn when I was in the woods. We can get some horses and saddles." I said waving some money I "borrowed" from Damian.
   "Yay!" She says jumping off the bed following me. I shift and she follows. I follow Damian's scent. Soon I can see Damian, Theo, and the guy I'm guessing is his Delta facing us but their attention was directed to the 2 men in front of them that had tons of people behind them. My dragon was covering me and Megan scent.
    "This doesn't look like a horse barn."
    "Come on." I told her looking for clothes I grab some in mouth and drop them at her feet. I find some for myself and go behind the closest tree shifting and getting dressed. I look and see Megan coming out from behind a tree. I direct her towards the direct of the guys. I walk out her following closely behind.
   "You guys started this meeting a little early don't you think? How could you start without the Luna! I'm heartbroken." I say drastically walking towards the guys. The Delta's jaw dropped. Theo and Damian looked like they wanted to kill us. Too bad they cant unless they also want to die. I send them a wink and grab Megan's hand standing by the guys finally facing the so called Kings. My jaw drops and the "Kings" mimic me looking between me and Megan.
   "WHAT THE ACTUALLY F***!" I look at Megan and see looks like she seen a ghost.
   "Are you trying to get us killed!" Damian mindlinked me. I ignored and walked up and punched the so called Dragon King and Wolf King. I turned away, Megan following. I shifted into my dragon form Megan getting on me. I took off and landed in the woods. Megan just sat there so I growled but she just sat there.
  "Would you mind getting off?!" She finally climbed off. I shifted back grabbing clothes from behind a tree and put them on.
   "I can't believe our dad's are Kings" Megan said.
   "I'm keeping my word come on." She followed not understanding. We walked for 10 more minutes. Finally reaching out destination. I walked up to the door knocking. An older looking guy answered the door.
   "Hello?"
    "Oh, umm we heard you were selling your horses?"
   "The horses are more my wife's thing. Honey!" He yelled
    "Coming," she answered.
     "Hello. Dear would you mind letting me talk with the girls on the bench?" She had a weird but good scent.
    "Of course honey." 
    "This way girls," she said closing door behind her leading us to a picnic bench.
     "Hello."
      "So what does a dragon-wolf hybrid and death-wolf hybrid want from little old me?"
     "How do you know what we are?" I asked amazed and shocked.
     "Well witches are good are recognizing that kind of things."
     "Wait you are a witch?" Megan said.
    "Yes dear. So what pack are you guys from?"
    "We actually have no idea." I should know the name of my pack ughhh.   
        "Do you know the name of it? It's not to far from here just through the woods."
       "Actually I do. The pack is called the moonlight pack. My name is Amber. What are yours?"
      "I'm Courtney, Luna of the Moonlight pack."
      "I'm Megan, Beta Female of the Moonlight pack."
       Nice to meet you. So what is it that you want from me?"
     "Oh, we were actually wondering if you would be willing to sell us one of your horse?"
       "Now why would two werewolves want horses?"
       "You see we just shifted this month and before then we were horse lovers and we still are."
       "How did you just shift this month?"
        "Maybe because we meet our mates."
        "Actually when Courtney shifted she was try to protect me. She told me to shift and it felt like I had no control like it was a command." Megan said.
       "Interesting. So I will be willing to sell all my horses but at a price."
       "How much?"
       "I don't want money I want to become the pack witch. "
       "Doesn't the alpha have to do that?"
       "It can be Alpha or Luna."
       "Do you trust her?" I mindlinked Megan.
       "I'm not sure but my wolf does."
       "Hey Athena and Silver do you trust this witch?" I asked.
      "She seems trust worthy." Athena replied.
      "She seems okay but I would keep an eye on her." Silver said.
      "So I'm willing to make you the pack witch on 2 requirements. 1 you have to report to me with everything you do. 2 we can keep horses here and we can ride them whenever we want. Do you agree?"
    "Yes and to prove to you I won't do anything to the pack I give you all rights to my mind." Suddenly I can hear all her thought and memories. It's a bit overwhelming so I imagine a door leading to her mind and I close it.
   "With the power invested in me as Luna I declare you, Amber the pack witch."
   "Thank you Luna."
   "Goodbye Amber." Me and Megan head back to the pack house to confront the "Kings" and our mates.
