New Girl

Chapter 1

I wake to the sound of my alarm going off, I better get up, first day at a new school, again. This is the 4th time I've moved school because of my parents moving with work, thankfully though they say we should never have to move again, thank goodness. I'm so tired of having to make friends but knowing I'm going to have to move again soon. Finally I can make proper friends to stay.

I run downstairs after getting dressed and get some breakfast.

"First day at school," mum says.

"Like I haven't had enough of those recently."

"Well honey at least we aren't moving again."

"I suppose."

"I'm off to school, bye mum." I say

"Bye honey, go make some friends."

When I get to school I go to the office to get my schedule.

Okay, homeroom- Miss Little

Seriously no room number, how on earth am I going to get there, wait I better go to my locker first, if I can find that.

Eventually I end up walking over and asking a girl if she could help me find locker 946.

"OMG, were locker buddies," she says.

"Oh by the way I'm Emily," she says.

"I'm Jess," I reply.

"Follow me I'll show you your locker," she says starting to walk.

After I've got my locker sorted she asks me for my schedule so she can see if we have any classes together.

"YAY!" She shrieks

"Were in all the same classes and homeroom," she says

"Yay!" I say

Then we walk to homeroom.

At lunch time she brings me over to sit with all her friends.

"Hey guys this is the New Girl," Emily says.

"And does this New Girl have a name?" Asks one of the boys looking at me.

Before I answer Emily does "Yes Matt she does, it's Jess," she says then she mutters "dork" under her breath.

"Hey I heard that," exclaims Matt.

"Hey guys, we should invite Jess to our next party thing at Jakes'" says Emily

"Yea there's one tonight, Jess you should defo come, by the way I'm Taylor, everyone calls me Tay," says the girl who I now know to be Tay.

"K, where is it," I reply.

"I gave you my number earlier ill text you the dets," Emily says

Then the bell goes and we all rush back to class.
