New Girl

Chapter 6

The day seems to go by in a blur until just before lunch when cheerleading tryouts start.

Me, Emily, Lauren and Tay all head to the girls lockers to get changed, except Lauren, she doesn't want to try out, something about not being athletic.

Once we've all auditioned we all gets dressed and rush off to lunch because the results are up in the cafeteria.

When we get in Ems and Tay rush up to read if we got in but I go sit down with Lauren and watch their trays.

Then Jules screams, gives me a dirty look and walks out.

"What's that all about?" says the boys walking up to the table with their food and sitting down.

"How the heck am I supposed to know," I say

Then Tay and Ems sit down really happy.

"I think I know why!" Says Ems," something about you getting on the cheerleading team and not her, and not to forget your cheer captain!"

"What seriously!" I say

"Yep," says Tay.

"Ohh so Jake, your girlfriend may be as good as you, she even beat you in your own sport the other day," teases Matt.

"Haha," says Jake.

Then the bell rings

"Thank goodness this conversation is over now!" Says Jake starting to get up.

I head over to my locker which is also almost beside his. Then my phone rings.

"Hey honey I was wandering if you could babysit someone for me," she says

"Sure!" I say

"Okay honey the address is on the fridge at home and don't forget to bring Ethan with you!"

"Okay bye mum," I say hanging up.

"So who's that," says Jake walking up to me.

"My mum wants me to babysit someone tonight," I say.

"Oh right I was wandering if you would like to go out somewhere like tomorrow might since your babysitting tonight," he says

"Sure!" I say

"Come on let's get to math!" He says so we walk to it together
