Chapter 8

We stay outside until eventually Jakes parents get home, when they get back they shout hello and Jake shouts them to tell them were outside. When they come out they look at us and laugh so Jake has to explain to them what happened. She pays me $25 dollars I thank her and Ethan and I head home to clean up.

I step out of the shower and get changed before leaving the bathroom. When I get out I hear a knock at the window so I walk over to it and push it up.

"Oh it's you," I joke at Jake who seems to have climbed across the tree between our houses, apparently it connects to my bedroom and his.

"Well who else," he says

"Well it could have been Ems or Tay or,"

"Okay I think I get it," he laughs.

"So are you going to invite me in through your window?" He asks

"I'm thinking about it," I giggle pulling him in.

Just then he turns to me and kissed me, our first kiss out of dares. We kiss for quite a while.

"So why are you here anyway?" I ask

"What a guy can't come visit his girlfriend?"

"I suppose," I answer laughing again.

We talk for ages and eventually we fall asleep.

I wake to the sound of my mum shouting

"Jess! I'm coming up into your room if your not up in the next 2 seconds," mum shouts

Crap I think, "I'm up I'm getting changed so don't dare come in my room," I shout.

"Jake wake up quick," I say shoving him

"Go away mum," he murmurs

"It's Jess you lunny," I say.

"What," he says wakening.

"We fell asleep last night and my mum might come up to my room and I'm sure yours is looking for you too," I whisper

"Oh crap!" He says getting up. "How bout we go into school together I'll come by your house," he says.

"Sure but were taking my car," I say

"Fine but I drive," he says.

"Sure," I say

The he kisses me before jumping out the window and going to his house.

I get ready for school and run down to the door.

"Where are you going in such a hurry," my dad asks coming downstairs.

"I'm going to school I'm meeting someone to go in," I say

"Okay see you later honey," he says.

"Bye dad! Bye mum! Bye Ethan!" I shout and run out to meet Jake.
