Note: Being a witch doesn't mean you're a female, it is just the term I used.

"And this is the part where I, Marvin the Magnificent, disappear." Marvin smiles and he waves his wand, bringing his cape down. And with a puff of smoke, he vanished. The small crowd clapped tremendously, but you looked up again and saw him clinging to the top stage bar. He disappeared and reappeared, again. It was the seventh time you saw this same show. But you loved it too much. You made yourself completely invisible to everyone, but was always sitting on the stage, almost always beside him. Of course, he never knew you were there.

"Hey! I see him! He's up there!" A man shouted. Everyone looked up to see Marvin clutching onto the bar, fearing for his life. You hear a slight moan in the bar. Uh oh. You quickly move right under him just as the bar gives way. You dodge the large piece of metal just in time, and barely suspend Marvin in mid-air. He looks around, and you start getting a nosebleed.

"Gh!" Stop moving around, Marvin! He looks to the crowd of people who stood in silence, looking at the floating man.

"Er...Ta-da!" Marvin exclaims and the crowd goes wild. You slowly start moving him down to the stage, then set him on his feet. You wipe the stream of blood running down to your lips and quickly go to backstage for a tissue. You make yourself visible and reach for the small cardboard box. You take a tissue and make sure the bleeding stopped.

"Man, that was tough..." You mutter, wiping away the stain from your skin. You hear a slight squeak of a prop and freeze. You whip around and see Marvin standing there, having dropped a rubber chicken. "U-um, I'm sorry for being back here! U-uh, bye!" You run from the back room and outside, where you then hug the wall and turn invisible.

"No, wait! Ugh, fuck." Marvin mutters, standing beside you. You cover your mouth so your breathing didn't attract him over to your spot. He sighed and looked around. He stopped, looking in your direction for a second. You completely froze. Oh god, can he see me?  He leaned forward, squinting. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, I'm screwed! He then opens his mouth...and sneezes. You flinch. He regains his posture, looks around once more, and walks back to the stage, closing the door behind him.

"Oh, that was close!" You gasp, bending over. You make yourself visible and adjust your clothing. "At least I wasn't wearing the cloak, that would've been a dead giveaway." You then walk away from there and down the street. Little do you know, Marvin was still watching and saw you uncloak yourself.

"Who are they?" He mutters, going to his phone. He calls Jack.

"Hey Marvin, what's up?" Jack calls through.

"I saw someone using magic -real magic- at my show!" Marvin squealed excitedly.

"That's nice! Did you bring them on stage?"

"N-no, I actually found them backstage afterwards..." Marvin started. "They ran out the back, and disappeared. But when I pretended to go back inside, I saw them reappear by the wall. They were invisible, Jack! Invisible!" Marvin was practically bouncing up and down.

"Calm down, Marvin. Just go follow them and ask who they are."

"They're probably long gone by now though..."

"Well, what about your next show? That's only tomorrow. Maybe they'll be there." Jack responded. "Just have hope, Marv, have hope." Then he hung up. Marvin sat on the wooden floor.

"Okay..." Marvin thought for a moment. "I know when I fell that that wasn't my magic. Maybe that was them. I just need to make another mistake and they'll be there!" And in fact, you would be there.

~Time Skip~

Marvin was then doing a balancing act, without a net under him. How stupid. He didn't like it himself, but it wasn't his idea. His producer made him do the act because it's been highly requested. So he was on the high wire. He took a step forward, but then two steps backward back onto the platform.

"What was I thinking? I can't do this!" He mumbled, looking down at the drop if he fell. You had climbed onto the other platform opposite of him, invisibly of course. You picked up a small pebble and threw it towards him. It tapped the middle of his mask and he looked to your direction with a first confused, then surprised look. You tug on the wire, making it juggle slightly, and he looked at it. "Good God." He mumbles, then takes a step on the wire. You can do it, Marvin, you can do it! You smiled. He let go of the wooden railing and took another step.

He waved his arms for a moment, then kept walking on the wire. You glanced at the audience. They were bored out of their minds. You hovered to the ground below Marvin and drew out your hands in a circle motion. Then with a flick of your wrist, a blast of light emitted and drew everyone's attention. You made the light into a transparent blue dragon, and made it look like it flew around Marvin. He stopped for a moment, but kept going once he heard the crowd in amazement.

"Marvin." You changed your voice to make it deep. He froze as the dragon stopped in front of him. "I am your spirit, your courage, kindness, and curiosity. Keep walking, and you, as well as them, will see a surprise on the other side of this wire." You made the dragon then spin in circles until it disappeared.

The crowd went wild, but it went down as they waited for Marvin to do more. He walked quickly to the other side, but occasionally slipped, doing a trick or two for excitement, then bowed at the other side. It's now or never, (Y/N). You then float up the the center of the wire and balance on it. Marvin was the only one who saw the dent in the wire. You had your cloak on, and you put a play witch-hat on. You then made yourself visible with a white light, your cloak flowing outwards as you did.

"Woah!" All of the crowd said in unison. Marvin looked the most surprised. You opened your eyes and your cloak settled down.

"I am (Y/N), a sort of magician like Marvin here," You face Marvin for a split second and wink, then turn back to the crowd. "But I am not a magician of a play sort, you see." You jump from the wire, but float in mid-air. "I, (Y/N), am the Witch of the long lost (L/N) family. Although I am a Witch, I am no different than you are." You float all the way down to the audience, then kneel in front of them. "I am still human." You hand a child your hat and they giggle.

"(Y/N)?" Marvin asks from the wooden platform. You smirk and snap, then he appears beside you. "T-that's your name? (Y/N)?" He asks. You stand up and fully face him.

"Yes, yes it is." You tilt your head. "Why?"

"Because I w-wanted to see who you were so I could m-maybe ask you if I c-could-"

"Of course, Marvin." You put your hand under his chin. "Just meet me after you finish your show." You then pull your cloak over yourself and you teleport to the top of the stage, staying invisible. You see the crowd staring at him, and he stands up. You snap and make a wand appear in his hand. "Make everyone glitter." You whisper. He seems to have heard you, because he muttered a spell and waved his wand; causing a dozen flashes of light to form over the crowd. When the flashed stopped, they all formed together and created sparkles, slowly falling down.

"Now, I, Marvin the Magnificent, will disappear!" He waves his wand and brings it down roughly. He disappears almost like you did, but teleported to the back almost immediately. You teleport down as well. "S-so..."

"So what?" You smile. "You wanted to learn magic?" You ask. he blushes and looks down. "Huh? What is it?"

"I actually wanted to ask you...if you wanted to go on a date?" He looked up at you, red almost seeping through his mask.
