You currently were ordering a Google IRL. You've seen a review of it from Matthias. It seemed pretty good at answering questions at a top speed, and also spoke by itself once in a while. So, being curious, you decided to get one. You finished your order with a click. You then heard a knock on your door. You stand up and open the door.

"Huh. Relatively quick, wasn't it." You pick up the small box and bring it inside. You set in on the floor in the center of the room and stand back. You watch it for a second, then a large man-looking thing pops out. It was wearing a large, creepy smile, peeking over its glasses. You remember the review. "Okay Google."

"Hello." Its deep voice wanted to give you the chills, but being as cold-hearted as you were, it was ineffective.

"What is your primary objective?" You ask it, to make sure it wasn't damaged.

"Primary objective: Answer questions as quickly as possible." It answered, then it started looking down. "Second objective is to destroy mankind-"

"What was that?" You interrupt it. It looks back at you.

"Second objective is to destroy mankind." It repeats. You narrow your eyes and walk to your closet. You open the door and a body falls out.

"Google," It looks from the body to you, almost surprised looking. "How long does it take to burn a human body?"

"About one to three hours." Google answered. You pick up the body by the scruff of the neck and drag it into the garage. A few seconds later you come out.

"Google, only respond to me unless I say so." You demand.

"Okay." It responds. You walk closer to it and grab its arm, dragging it upstairs. It reluctantly follows you as you shut the last room door behind you both.

"Are you connected with anybody else other than me?" You ask in a hushed tone.

"No." It answered. You give it a steady glare, and its eyes seemed to widen. You reach your hand up to its throat, and you see its eyes follow your hand. Once you grab it by the neck, it seems to tense up and take in a breath. Robots don't need to breathe, what emotions does this thing have? You let go and look it up and down. You then grab it by the shirt, spin it around and push it further into the room. You let it go, tossing it to the opposite wall. Once it makes contact, you lunge over and force your forearm pushing on its neck. Its hands got to your arms, but then lowers them, as if making a mistake.

"What are you?" You mumble.

"I am Goog-"

"I know that." You growl, cutting it off. "It was rhetorical." You push your arm further towards its neck, creating tension enough to nearly choke a person out. Its hands fly to your arm and grab, as if trying to pull your arm away to breathe. It made a slight grunt of distress as it almost pleadingly looked into your eyes. "You told me your primary, and secondary objective..." You grumble to it, getting close to its face. "But what is your third objective?"

"Third objective: survive living with (Y/N)." Its voice sounded a bit unsure for a machine.

"Living?" You question.

"Living." It repeats. You slightly loosen the tension on its neck, then back away completely. It slides down the wall and sits for a moment before standing back up and facing you, plastering that creepy smile back onto its face; but it looks a bit unsure. You remember from the Matthias review that it can do simple tasks, but you decide to try and push it further.

"Google," It looks at you. "Can you endure a beating?" It takes a slight step back, the smile vanishing.

"My software is highly damageable and cannot be fixed. Most parts will need replacement if damaged. Will not be able to function properly. Cannot-"

"That sounds like a bunch of excuses." You once again cut it off. "Google, can you fight?" You slyly draw out a knife. It glances at the knife and it stiffens. You toss the knife to it, and it amazingly catches it by the handle, then holds it out in front of itself, ready for a fight with its signature smile. You return the creepy smile and draw out another blade of your own. It had been tinted red from several previous uses. "Can you...kill?"

"Yes." Your smile drops and you growl. You both charge at each other. It tries to sweep your legs, but you land on your hands and kick it under the chin, sending the glasses it wore flying off. Once you stand again, it takes a stride to the right and a slash to your neck, but you ultimately dodge and lunge at its stomach. It blocks with the knife, but you both lose your blades in the process. It kicks you over and you land on the ground. It throws itself on top of you and holds you down as it reaches for, and picks up the knife you gave it. As it swipes it to your throat, it stops once your gaze connects.

"Go on. Do it. Kill me." You say, not a single emotion on your face. For a split second it takes in a sharp breath and presses the blade to touch your skin, but it stops again and scans your face for some kind of recognition. Nothing. It growls, the psychotic look only it its eyes now, and gets off of you. You stand and look at the man-looking machine. "Google," It narrows its eyes. "Why didn't you kill me?"

"I thought you would make a good partner. Killing you would be a waste." It answered. You raise your eyebrow.

"That's the most human answer I've heard you give. "Google, what do you mean 'partner'?" It takes a few seconds.

"Primary objective; Answer questions as quickly as possible. Second objective; Destroy mankind." It finally clicks.

"Oh, now I get it." You smirk. You stoop down and pick up its glasses, then walk over to it and grab at the end of its shirt collar and drag it to another room after opening the door. "You and I both want similar things, Google. We both want the destruction of this world and its pathetic people." It nods when you stop. "Do you want to work together?"

"It would accomplish my secondary-"

"Do you want to work together?" You repeat before it finishes. It stays silent for a solid thirty seconds before slightly sparking, the insane look dissipating.

"Yes, I do." It nods its head. You look it up and down and walk in a circle around it. It turns its head and moves its eyes to follow you instead of staying stiff like normal. This thing...can go rogue. It has a consciousness. Its not just a machine. He's not just a machine. You smile once you stop back in front of it.

"It will be my pleasure to work with you, Google. Now, we have much to do." You put the glasses on his face, balancing on his nose, and he smiles. You feel something strange, then you smile.

"Just tell me what to do."
