"If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends!!" Your alarm booms. You reluctantly roll over and throw your phone half way across your room.
You lie back down, looking up at the ceiling. Listening in annoyance to the majority of the song.
"Hmph," you groan and surprisingly get out of bed. You pick your phone up and turn off your alarm.

You decide to wear your long black overalls (that you spent way too much money on). A white tshirt and a big, comfy teddy jacket. You slip on some odd socks and your checkered vans, coz who isn't a basic bitch?

you decide you'll just get breakfast on the way. So you clean your teeth and wash your face.
You put on a bit of mascara, lip gloss and you were out the door, bag on back and a textbook in hand. Greeted by the cold air of the city, you locked the door to your little terrace. And started walking down the footpath, and off to school.

You don't usually walk to school alone. Your best friend Nat, usually walks with you though. She is your flat mate after all. But she's at a wedding, out of the city. Her Aunty was getting married for probably the 6th time now.

Your ear plugs are sadly broken, so you couldn't bop out to any PATD. Rip, I know.

You stop at the pedestrian crossing, waiting for the light to go red. But you hear someone walking behind you. You turn around to see who it is.

Loki Laufeyson.

The school's biggest trouble maker, the school's cutest guy, possibly THE cutest guy, and... your crush. Luckily, you were pretty good at acting normal around your crushes.

"Hey, y/n!" He smiles as he walks up to you.
"Hey," you reply, smiling.
"What are you doing on this fine morning?" he asks.
"Walking to school I believe," you reply, mocking his choice of wording. He laughs softly.
"Mind if I join?"
"Why of course not,"
"Good, because we can cross now," he says smiling, snapping you back to reality. Who wouldn't get lost in those eyes.
"Oh, I didn't even notice!" You say.
He giggles softly.

His shoulder-length, black hair is tied up in a low pony tail. He's wearing blue jeans, a black jumper and some black sneakers.

"I like your jacket, it makes me wanna hug you," he says with a smile.

I'm gonna have to wear this jacket more often.

"Oh-ah-thank you," you reply. Dumbfounded. He giggles again.

"Oh, do you mind if I stop for a little breakfast on the way?" You ask.

"Not at all, I'm hungry aswell," he replies.

You guys chat away as you reach the ugly shopping centre near your school. You slide into a booth at a cozy cafe.

"Hmmmm, what are you gonna get?" Loki asks you.
"Hmm, I don't know. The waffles look good, but I might just play it safe and get avo toast," you reply.
"I thought you said that you had tried 'basically everything' on the menu?" He says, laughing softly.
"I said 'basically', that doesn't mean everything," you reply.
You both laugh.

A waitress walks over to your booth. She's and older lady, maybe in her late 50s, she had obviously been working here for a while. But nonetheless, she looked very happy.
"Can I get you two lovebirds anything?" She asks with a grin.
You open your mouth to protest, but Loki buts in.
"Um, I'll have the waffles and y/n here will have the avocado toast," he says with a smile.
"Is that all for today, dears?" The lady smiles.
"Um, I'll have a hot chocolate, please," you say.
"Make it two," Loki adds.
"Ok, so two hot chocolates, avo toast and waffles?" she says, double checking.
"Yep," Loki replies.
"Ok, I'll be back with your food very soon," she says with a smile and walks back.

You and Loki start chatting again and soon enough the happy lady arrives with the food.
You guys eat your breakfast and talk some more. When your done you just sit there, enjoying each other's company and bantering. You soon decide it's probably time to get to school, it'll start soon.

You both walk up to the counter.
"That'll all come to, 18.47," the lady at the counter says.
Loki pulls out a $20 note before you could do anything.
"What!" You say as you swat his hand away.
"I'm paying," you say.
"No, it's ok I will," He replies.
You guys have a little argument about who's paying, the lady at the counter just face palms, having seen this all too many times.
Loki ends up winning, because you looked in your wallet, and realised you only had a $1 coin.

You both exit the building and started walking to school again.
"That was some darn good avo toast," you say.
"It did look pretty good, I'll have to try it next time we do this," Loki says.
"Wait what?" You say, confused.
"What, isn't Nat away for the whole week? We should do this again tomorrow!" He says with a smile.
"I'd love to."
"Sounds great," Loki says happily.
And that's when he finally got his comfy jacket hug.
