Chapter 1: You Look Familiar..

-4 years later-

**Lapis's POV**

Today was a crazy day.. but i'd be getting paid more considering the amount of people were gonna be here.

It was a Halloween party, and one person after another, I had more drinks to pour and give.

A year or two ago, I got a job as a bar tender at a fancy place called The Pub. I was told by my boss to wear a costume to look more decorative for the party, which was kind of stupid in my opinion, but I did so anyway.

I was dressed as a pirate. Sure its a bit boring..- Okay maybe really boring, but I didn't have any other ideas.

I was passing out drinks to people, when a certain girl caught my eye. She was tall. Maybe an inch or two taller than me? It looked like she had prosthetic arms and legs. They were actually robotic. She was pretty much a cyborg. I wonder what had happened to her..

She had blonde hair with emerald green eyes that I could get lost into. She was wearing a mask, so I could only see her eyes. As she walked around, I noticed people stare at her. Poinitng and whispering things too.

People are so rude.. I thought.

I shook my head to stop thinking about it, continuing to pass out shots to people.

It wasn't until later that she came over to the counter, probably wanting a drink or two. However, she didn't look the type to drink..

She walked over and sat on a stool, lonely. I walked over to her.

"hello, can I get you anything?"

she looked up at me, and smiled.

"no thank you."

Her voice sounded very familiar... a high, but very sweet, soothing voice..

"alright. Yell if you need anything."

I was about to walk away when she stopped me with a few words.

"you look familiar.."

I turned to her. She studied me.

"I do, huh?" I asked, smiling slightly. She nodded.

"I dont recall where i've seen you... but I know I have."

"hmm... take off the mask." I said, wanting to see her face.

she chuckled, and took off the mask, revealing a face that looked very familiar. I wanted to ask what her name was, when I was being called by needy 30 year old drunks. I rushed over to them to give them their drinks, and left the other girl there waiting.

**Peridot's POV**

I knew that face... I just couldn't quite put my finger on it. Maybe I knew her before I was taken?

She had tan skin, with black hair, and beautiful ocean blue eyes with a very slim and toned body. In other words, she was hot.
