After sending a couple of messages between Michael we decided that we would meet up near the only water fountain in the town, and The meeting time was saturday at around 9:30 am. WE did shoot a couple of other texts not related to the meeting, but they didn't last very long, either me cutting it short for work, or him cutting it short for school. I didn't try to hard to talk to him but we did talk more than i expected.

The day had finally came. I woke up and looked outside my window and saw that it was snowing. I checked my phone and saw that it was 9:10. I wasn't panicking too hard, being that the fountain was only a 10 minute walk away from my house. So i got up, got dressed, and finished off the rest of my morning necessities. I did another time check. 9:29. Now i was sightly panicking. I put on my overcoat and scarf and grabbed my wallet, pocket notebook, and pencil. Then i set off.

It was 9:36 by the time i got there and I was expecting him to be there already but he wasn't. I sat at the edge of the fountain and waited for a couple of minutes. I heard some footsteps coming towards me and turned to see where it was coming from, seeing michael running over me. He stopped in front of me out of breath.

"S-Sorry im late... im... still not quite used to the directions of this town yet." he said breathing heavily.

"It's alright, i was a little late too so i wasn't waiting too long." i replied, patting the seat next to me, signaling him to sit down. Ḧe did and i decided to ask, "And, 'not used to directions'? Did you move to roseway recently?"

"Yes actually", he said catching his breath, "about 2 and a half weeks ago, i don't go out much so this is new for me."

"Ah i see, so about the commission..." and we went on from there. It didn't think we were talking for long but when i checked my watch, seeing it was already 10:15. Soon after the time check i realized i hadn't eaten anything. "Hey, do you want to go get something to eat, i ended up skipping breakfast this morning so i'm kinda hungry." i asked.

"Oh, sure. How about the cafe? That is honestly the only place i know where we could eat." he replied.

"Yea, i usually eat there anyways, as suzie said i am boring with choices. Plus its really close from here." i said shrugging, starting to stand up. Michael followed my movements and we set off. "I'll lead the way, unless you know where the cafe is from here?" i said mockingly. "I don't know where anything is." he replied.

"Well maybe i could show you around sometime, i know this place like the back of my hand."

"That sounds like a plan." he said, smiling. I stared at him for a bit. His smile looked like suzie's. It was subtle and kinda cute. I shook the thought out of my head. Why would i think that. God, why does he have to look like a girl. I felt something tug on my arm and i turned. Michael said "i know you know this place like the back of your hand but...were here already."

"Oh! Um, of course, i uh... i knew that." i said quickly walking inside. I took a deep breath in smelling coffee, freshly baked goods, and an assortment of different teas.
