Christmas (Chapter 4)

*Darcy's P.O.V*

I put on an ivory lace dress, light pink, bow flats, a flower hair baret, diamond studs, and a light pink, butterfly necklace.

I examined my outfit in the mirror. I seemed okay. I head a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I yelled and my dad opened the door.

"You look pretty." My dad said.

"Thank you. You look handsome." I replied, centering his tie.

"I want you to have something." He said as he pulled a little black box out of his pocket.

He opened it and inside was a silver cross over ring with little diamonds on it.

"It's really pretty Dad." I told him.

"A really pretty ring, for a really pretty princess." He said as he slipped the ring on my finger.

"Merry Christmas Darcy. I love you princess." Dad hugged me and I hugged him back.

"Love you too Daddy."

 I heard a camera go off and we pulled apart to see Mom standing in the doorway.

"Aww! Am I being replaced by Daddy's little girl?" She said.

"Mommy!" I yelled as I ran over and hugged her.

"Now Dad's being replaced." I said as he looked at me like I was evil.

I just smiled innocently and walked downstairs. I checked my IPhone to see a missed call from Seth. I returned it.

"Hello?" He said.

"This is the Forks, Washington police department. Are you mister, uh, Seth Clearwater?" I said in a deep voice.

"Y-Yes." He stuttered.

"Well Mr.Clearwater, we towed your car today for being parked in a truck loading and unloading zone."

"Now what did you get yourself into?" I heard Leah in the background.

"Um, um" Seth started.

"Your going to need to pay a fine of eleven thousand dollars."

"W-What?"

"Hello." Leah answered.

"This is the Forks police department."

"What did my brother do?"

"We had his car towed for being in a truck loading and unloading zone."

"And how much would it cost to get it back?"

"Eleven thousand"

"That much?"

"Yes, and while I have you on the phone, do you happen to be going to the Cullen's Christmas party?"

"Seth you idiot! It's Taylor!" Leah yelled at him.

"Taylor? Who's Taylor?" Seth asked.

"Darcy" She said.

"Oh! Darcy!" He yelled through the phone.

"Give me my phone Leah!"

 "Hi Darcy!" Seth said happily into the phone.

"Hi Seth! So uh, why'd you call me?"

"Oh, I was wondering what time you guys were going to the party."

"Oh, um, yeah, probably after my parents stop trying to eat each other's face off!" I yelled the last part.

I heard Seth chuckle.

"See you later." I said.

"Bye." 

After that, the line went dead.

"Ready to go?" 

I screamed as my dad said that. He surprised me.

"Yeah" I replied.

 I am cleaning up cups that are spread out on the floor. I know Esme would probably get mad at me but I couldn't find them or my parents anywhere.

I walked towards the other side of the house, my heels clicking against the floor. I heard voices, multiple voices. I walked faster to find everyone gathered in a room.

"What's going on?" I asked.

Everyone stayed silent but I could hear everyone's thoughts. It was the Volturi.

"The Volturi are coming, for me." I answered my own question.

"Its nothing you need to worry about." Carlisle told me.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"I'm sure. They just want to know what you are. Just like they did with Renesmee." 

"O-Okay."

I just sat there while the rest of them discussed. 

"When are they coming?" I heard someone ask.

"I can't tell an exact date, there's a snow covered ground." Alice answered.

After that, I zoned out and felt the room get darker.
