Chapter 12

"Please Amanda, I've apologized for the hundredth time already." I begged as I ran after her.

"Do you know how worried I was?" She asked folding her hands.

"I should have told you and I'm sorry."

"I'm only forgiving you because you are my best friend." She said smiling before embracing me into a hug.

"Why do you smell like Austin?" She asked suspiciously.

"It's not what you think. Austin and I went to chill and watch movies at his crib, then I fell asleep... so this morning I had to borrow his clothes."

"What? Why? I thought he hated you." She said shocked.

"Shut up will you! There's more." I laughed.

"Austin and I are dating." I mumbled playing with my fingers.

"WHAT!" She yelled, causing every head to turn and stare at us.

Oh God.

Amanda and I walked in the cafeteria scanning the place for a spot to sit, until Austin stopped us.

"Hey Amanda, can I steal Aaliyah from you?" He asked Amanda. She looked at me and whispered....

"He knows my name!"

"Of course I know your name, after all you are my girlfriend's best friend." He said. I guess Amanda doesn't know the meaning of whispering. And with that he dragged me out of the cafeteria.

"Where are we going?" I asked as we approached his car.

"To get lunch. I hate the food they offer in this school." He said with a disgusted look.

"What does that have to do with me? I like the food they give us here." I said shrugging.

"Can't I take my girlfriend to lunch." He smirked as he opened the car door for me.

"What would you like to have miss?" A young waitress asked with a notepad and pen in her hands.

"Just chicken salad and lemon water please." I said smiling politely.

"And you sir? Would you also like some salad?" The waitress asked as she turned to Austin.

"Salad!? Give me a burger, beer and some fries! "

"That's so unhealthy." I said, eyeing his plate after the waitress brought our food.

"Real men eat meat, drink without shame and don't really care about the ill effects of what they're putting into their bodies." He preached

"Eating all of that can make you fat, you know. I'm sure you don't wanna ruin that six pack of yours." I argued

"So you have seen my six pack huh, mesmerizing right?" He smirked proudly.

"I just assumed you have one." I said blushing even though I've seen it once while he was playing football.

"Wanna see it?" He asked looking at me.

"Uhh no, you can't just lift your t-shirt up in public you ass."

"So you want me to invite you to my place so you can see it properly."

"That would be nice actually, we can watch a movie amd cuddle. " I suggested. I'm so not feeling school right now.

He looked at me and laughed "You want to ditch school? Good girl gone bad."

"We can leave right now, if you don't mind." I said

"Whatever my girlfriend says." He said winking. He's taking this girlfriend and boyfriend thing way too serious.
