Chapter two

I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm. I spent 20 minutes in the bathroom, showering, doing my hair and brushing my teeth. I spent another 20 minutes trying to find something fashionable to wear. If you are wondering why girls spend so much time getting ready, well it's because we always want to look good and presentable all the time.

I made pancakes and orange juice for breakfast. Orange juice is my life. Once my stomach was satisfied, I got my phone from the charger and waited for Josh outside.

"You look pretty today." Josh complimented as he kissed me on my forehead.

"I'm not gonna say thanks." I said folding my hands

"I don't care, as long as you know you are pretty." He said chuckling.

"Idiot! This is the part where you ask why." I rolled my eyes

"Okay sorry, why if I may ask?"

"Because you said I look pretty today. That means I'm ugly and today is the first time I'm looking pretty." I said trying to keep myself from laughing.

"You are crazy, get in the car." He said laughing.

Our car rides normally consists of the two of us laughing and singing. I know I'm a terrible singer but Josh is way worse.

We got to school and parked in our usual spot. That's the best thing about being popular, you have your own freaking parking spot.

We got out of the car and we could hear people saying awww... They are so adorable.... They were meant to be together. Couple goals honey. 

"I'll see you during lunch I have to go." Josh said giving me my book bag. He always carries my bag. Ladies, get yourself a guy who will carry your bag all the time.

"Aren't you going to class?" I asked

"Umm noo...I have ..to ..you know." He said scratching his neck.

"You not making any sense..are you hiding something from me?" I asked

"Ahh you got me. It was suppose to be a surprise but-

"I'm sorry, I ruined everything, didn't I." I said face palming myself.

"No it's okay babe, but right now I really got to go...see you at lunch." He said giving me a quick peck on the lips.

The rest of the day was a complete blur. I was busy fidgeting and wondering what could the surprise be. He can be so romantic sometimes.

"What's got you so excited?" Amanda asked. Meet Amanda my best friend. She's super funny and very pretty. She's so over protective when it comes to me. No one touches her best friend ...besides her. For some reason she finds happiness when she slaps me. Weirdo.

"Josh said he has a surprise planed for me." I squealed.

"Ohh." She said rolling her eyes and took a seat next to me in the cafeteria.

"What's wrong? You are suppose to squeal with me."

"I just don't like Josh, nothing is wrong with him but it's just a gut feeling." She said poking her food with a fork.
