Got lost in the candy floss,
Around my neck hangs an albetross,
I lost respect, just regret and reflect,
To a place that no more holds sanctity,
The world's vulgar, these words I'd rather butcher,
Than to fluster it up with lustre,
Flabbergasted, lost chance at love,
Unhang the boots, strap the gloves,
Plethora of thoughts, plethora of actions,
My hunger and thirst prolongs satisfaction,
Till I lay defeated, my head into the ground,
Still consoling and saying I'd be around,
Yet roam the places where I don't belong,
My friends tell me to be strong,
The pain malignates, lost in my thoughts,
Darkened by the clouds,
The stars don't shine,
With all of this, how will I even believe the divine,
Or drink it away with pitchers of wine,
I picture being intertwined by lines so fine,
I align to the threads of a sadistic spider,
Soaked webs from the venom of a viper,
But I don't deny the fact that I was wrong,
Ever in my life, I pay for other's failures and also mine,
But being labelled as a liar and a fiend, got nobody to trust,
Hope that's away with adrenaline pumping till my gutts,
But I must remember that I'm always by myself,
Don't be bewildered, it'll always be this way forever and beyond,
