Chapter 31: She-Venom

(Y) POV 

I jumped up as she became some monster as Ikaruga noticed what she became

Ikaruga: wh-what just happened to her?

(Y): I don't know, my spider sense isn't picking anything.

I dodged Yumi's attack as she rushed towards Ikaruga missing hitting the wall

I rushed forward getting some hits from the back as something came out of her back grabbing me trying to bite my head off

I grabbed the mouth as it was trying to close over my head as Ikaruga rushed forward hitting her with her sword making Yumi fall onto the ground

(Y): thanks, I don't know what's wrong with my sixth sense.

Ikaruga: I think this was the black goo my dad was talking about.

I looked over slightly 

Ikaruga: give me sometime I may look into stuff about this.

She hurried off to see what she can find as I tried to web Yumi in the face not going as planned

She tackled as the face opened showing Yumi

(Y): Yumi, you gotta get out of that thing?

Yumi: (Y) I don't know how.

(Y): I'll find out for you.

I thrown her off as I blocked her path with webs

I rushed over to Ikaruga

(Y): did you find anything?

Ikaruga: no but one thing I know is that they seem to be weak to loud noises.

I turned over as Yumi broken her way out of the webs and went launching herself at me as I webbed my bag smacking her towards the balcony 

(Y): ikaruga, play the sound.

She threw me the phone as I played a high frequency sound making Yumi's new suit thing freak out

I got a clear view of Yumi as I webbed her out as she fell down

The goo rushed off to the side as I looked around for it disappearing

(Y): where did it go?

I looked back to see how Yumi was doing

She was laying on the ground holding her stomach 

(Y): Yumi, are you ok?

Yumi: felt like something was eating my insides.

(Y): I think you're just hungry, just go to bed

She tried to get up as I helped her up

(Y): just lay here tonight, I'll close the balcony door.

I webbed it closed as I sat on the bed

(Y): so Yumi, I'll search for that "thing" tomorrow. Just hope it doesn't do what it done to anyone else.

Yumi: what do you mean.

(Y): it "bonded" with you.

Ikaruga: I think what he means is that he hopes it doesn't bond with anyone till we find it. 

(Y): yeah, and I hope I can find whatever it's at.

I turned off the lights as Ikaruga and Yumi snuggled up against me
