Ch. 3, Finding Paige

The door where paige was being held captive unlocked. The two men sat in front of her. They closed and locked the door behind them. "Here's the deal princess, you give us the answers to our questions, and we won't hurt ya." Austin says in a rude way. "Tell us the password to the castles opening gate." Derek says sternly. Paige closes her eyes while another tear rolls down her face and shakes her head. "I will not give you this information." she replies. Austin tightens the grip on the ropes holding her to the chair. Paige tenses up, feeling the rope dig into her wrists and waist. "Spit it out now! Or you'll regret it..." says Derek.

Security guards search through the meadows and Zoren and eddie search the streets. Zoren finds a paper on the street that read. "DK and
AK brothers." "Hey i found something!" Zoren yells. The security guards and eddie surround the paper. One of the security guard picks it up and then he exchanged a horrified look with one of the other guards. Eddie asks,"What is that?" The guard replies,"Well two known untaught kidnappers named Derek Kenning and Austin Kenning are called the Dk and Ak brothers. And it's possible that they were the ones who took Paige but if they did we need to find her fast, they are known for horrible behavior." Eddie can't even process this. "What kind of horrible behavior?" he asks. "Hurting people..." they respond. "No. You're serious? We have to go find her now!" eddie panics. "Yes your highness!" the guard replies. "Wait!" one of the guards says. "I heard they stay in a two story all black house, so if we find that, then paige must be there! Follow us on the drive!" the other guard says. The suns start lowering, and like the guard said, they came upon the black two story house.

Meanwhile, Paige is miserable and terrified. The ropes started ripping because they were too tight, and they then just broke. Paige stands up immediately staring at the deep red marks in her harm, half bleeding which she assumed was the same on her waist from how it felt. "You need to stay away from me!" she screams. "Just leave me alone!" paige cries. Austin backs up and picks up the knife. "You better answer this next question!" he yells. "Give is the code to the golden safe." Derek says. "No." Paige replies. "Alright then! Here we go!" austin says approaching her with the knife, when all of a sudden there is a pounding on the door. Guards are screaming,"OPEN THIS DOOR WE KNOW YOU HAVE THE QUEEN!" Austin turns around in a quick instant and the knife swipes and hits paige's stomach and arm. She falls to the ground holding the wounds tight. Derek and Austin leave the room immediately to try to keep the door close, while they are gone, paige escapes through a window. The guards break in and Eddie and Zoren look furious. The guards hold Derek and Austin by their shirts. "You tell us where she is right now!" The guard screams. "She's in the small room." Derek says. The guards run in but come back. "Tell the truth, there is blood in the room and she's not there." The guard says. "She probably escaped through the window!" Austin says. They all run outside and see Paige trying to walk but holding her stomache in pain. She walks to a tree and collapses hanging on to it with one arm and one holding her stomache. "PAIGE!" Eddie says as he runs to her and immediately takes her in his arms. "Eddie!" she says tears rolling down her face still in pain. Eddie looks down at the cuts and blood on her stomache and arm and the red marks around her wrists. "No.... they hurt her someone help!! eddie says lying her down on the grass. "We are calling an ambulance!" the guards say. The guards put handcuffs on Derek and Austin. Eddie looks at paige who was absolutely miserable and it kills him. His eyes tear up. "Oh paige darling i am so sorry for everything that happened to you! If i hadn't left none of this would have happened! Now you're hurt and bleeding and were horrified!" eddie cries. "I was worried sick about baby." he adds. Paige says through tears,"Eddie please don't blame yourself, you did nothing wrong, and you are my hero for finding me." Eddie wipes away her tears with is thumb and kisses her. "Oh gosh Paige they cut you bad." Eddie says. "Yeah, he was holding the knife approaching me but he heard the pounding on the door and swung around quickly and the knife swiped and cut my stomach and arm." She replies. "Unbelievable, i'm so sorry baby. What did they do to your wrists?" eddie asks. "They kept asking questions like wanting passwords to important things in the castle and said if i didn't tell them they would hurt me, so when i didn't tell them they tightened the ropes that were holding me to the chair around my wrists and waist. After a while the ropes were too tight and broke." Paige said. "Oh sweetie." Eddie says with a frown. "This just isn't fair to you, you collapsed a couple days ago, you got kidnapped, you've been injured." Eddie says. "Eddie i know it's a huge struggle, but it's okay because you're always there for me and you care and worry about me and are the most sweetest and loving husband ever. i couldn't ask for anyone better, you make it all better then it is. i love you." Paige says. "I love you so much paige morgan." eddie says and he kisses her again. "I'm so sorry." Paige says. "What are you sorry for, you have nothing to be sorry about." Eddie says. "I should've been more aware of what was happening and instead i got taken and scared you to death. i'm so sorry eddie." paige says as her eyes tear up more and more tears roll down her face. Eddie replies,"Paige morgan, you don't need to apologize, it isn't your fault you got kidnapped, and i worry because i love you with all my heart more than anything and i always will. I am the luckiest man in the universe to get to have you." Eddie replies romantically and brushing her tears away. "i'm the luckiest woman in the universe to have you." paige says smiling, but then she holds her stomach again because she's in pain again. "Are you okay paige, do you feel worse?" eddie asks. "Slightly yes." she replies. "I'm so sorry darling, the ambulance has just arrived." eddie says. "Thank god." she says.
