oof, episode six

" Oh, Hyunjin actually managed to befriend Mia? " Changbin asked as he sat down at the same table as Mia and Hyunjin, soon after Jisung, Sophia and Felix sat down at the table as well.

Felix looked at Hyunjin, " Since when do you befriend girls again? I thought Hana was the end of friendships with girls."

Sophia snorted, " Mia tried to befriend Hyunjin first."

Mia looked at Sophia with wide eyes, and then Sophia realized that she sort of gave away Mia's secret identity as the annoying stranger on Instagram.

" What? " Hyunjin looked at Sophia.

" Well, I mean she technically tried to befriend you first cause you found out about her existence through her having to tutor you, " Sophia awkardly explained.

Everyone except Hyunjin knew Sohphia was lying, for one she was a really bad liar, sometimes it was a good thing, sometimes it ruined everything for her. Being a liar was bad either way, so she just had to live with being the brutally honest bitch who, surprisingly, is popular.

Jisung was sitting next to Mia, so he leaned to her ear and whispered, " You have some explaining to do."

Mia pushed Jisung with her shoudler which resulted in the boy falling backwards and spilling water all over his shirt.

Jisung looked at his best friend and frowned, " What have I ever done to you? "

Changbin laughed as he looked at Jisung, " You exist."

Felix laughed along and soon enough everyone was laughing, the whole cafeteria looked at them as if they were a couple of idiots, which, in all honesty, they were.

Once the laughing sort of died down Hyunjin looked at Mia and brightly smiled, " Can we do our tutoring lesson sooner? I really want to write that test as fast as posible."

Mia felt her cheeks redden and she nodded. Why did she blush so hard when someone she thought was attractive talked to her? Whenever Changbin talked to her she would become like a red statue, which Changbin actualy picked up on, so he was already quite sure that Mia had a crush on him.

Changbin noticed Mia's red cheeks and frowned, he had always known that Hyunjin was a lot more attractive than him, but he had hoped that at least Mia wouldn't fall for that. At the end of the day, Hyunjin always got the girl and this wouldn't the first time it would happen.

Back when Changbin transfered to this school, he was extremely glad that Hyunjin didn't follow him. He loved his friend, but it tends to get annoying when people start using you just to get closer with your best friend. Changbin met Sophia and they instantly became close friends and a little bit later she introduced him to Mia. When he saw Mia for the first time he immediately developed a crush. She was cute but quiet, he had assumed she was always like that, but when he once saw her alone with Sophia, he noticed that she was loud and obnoxious. And that's when he knew that she was the girl he had wanted all this time.

In the end, he chose to he a good friend to Sophia and pretended to be her boyfriend, she had problems at home and her brother used to attend the school, so she needed to prove that she liked guys. Him being the best best friend out there, he agreed on playing along, which was slowly but surely burying Mia's crush towards Changbin, while his staid as strong as ever. 

Mia and Hyunjin were discussing when they would have the tutor session and Changbin just kept staring at Hyunjin with envy. He didn't know that Mia still liked him, but he did know that the girl was developing a crush on Hyunjin, just like all the girls he had ever liked.

Sophia sighed as she noticed Changbin's frown, she rubbed his back and sadly smiled at him, " Trust me, she likes you, she's just super shy and blushed about everything."

Changbin looked at Sophia and sadly chuckled, " She likes him and you know it."

" She doesn't yet."

" Keyword 'yet'," Changbin quietly told himself.

" Okay, deal! We're having tutoring time tomorrow! " Hyunjin brightly smiled and Mia completely oblivious to his friend's frown.

Mia nodded and turned back to her food, she wanted to disappear from the table as soon as possible. She wanted to get away from the table where Changbin was, she felt his stare the whole time she was talking to Hyunjin and she couldn't keep her heart under control.

Why were all the cute guys suddenly around her?
