Mia was uneasy the whole day. Of course, she talked to Sophia about this, and Sophia agreed that she had to go to him and come clean.
It was stupid, but Mia was happy at the same time cause he liked her. He actually liked her, maybe not for long, but he liked her.
Lunch had just ended and Mia saw every one of her friends leave the canteen except Hyunjin. It was time.
Mia walked into the the canteen and on the way to Hyunjin, she turned on her phone, opening the other account.
" Hyunjin."
" What are you doing here?"
Mia just raised her phone, so Hyunjin could see what was on the screen.
Hyunjin widened his eyes and looked at Mia, " You got to be shitting me."
" Listen, I never intended for this to happen. I didn't even know you when I started dming you through that account."
" Did it ever occur to you that maybe, just maybe you should've stopped when you finally met me?"
Mia's voice became a little bit squeaky, " I didn't mean for this to happen. How was I supposed to know that you would start liking me?"
" I don't like you, I liked the character."
Mia's heart broke, " I wasn't playing a character. That was me, that's the me I am. That's how I am with every single one of my closet friends."
" But I've never been a close friend to you, so that makes no sense!" Hyunjin raised his voice.
" I felt confident because you didn't know it was me! Hyunjin, all this time you were talking to the me who is comfortable with people, who doesn't get shy."
" So you just mean to tell me that you knew every single thing that I told you? I thought I had someone to talk to, but instead it was you."
" You do have someone to talk to!"
Hyunjin shook his head and scoffed, " No, Mia. I don't. You know what? Leave me alone, don't ever talk to me again."
