Aubrey's POV"Butterfly, wake up sweety we're here", I feel my mom gently shake me awake. I open my eyes and take a long stretch. I basically slept all the way here. Who would've know I was that tired. I look around and see that we're parked in front of a white garage. Our new house is a beautiful pale yellow that's lined with white around the edges. It's facing the sea so I don't know what it looks like on that side but I'm excited to see.
"Mom this house is beautiful.", I say in awe of how the sunset shines behind the house. This is gorgeous. The house is smaller than the one we had back in New York but that doesn't bother me.
"I knew you'd love it, now let's go inside and see how it looks in there. There are 3 bedrooms so you can go in and choose the one you like.", I get out of the car and walk towards the door. Mom fumbles in her purse and gets the keys to open the door. Once we're inside I look around at how beautiful it is.All the windows are lined with beautiful silky white curtains that flow as the wind blows through the house when we opened the door. When you walk in it's the lounge I presume, it's kind of hard to tell since it's so empty at the moment. I walk through a door way and the house opens up into an open plan kitchen and dining room with an island in the middle of the kitchen. The whole wall on the far end of the room is basically lined with windows and a glass door by the dining room side. I can the see the sunset shine through the curtains reflecting a beautiful red/orange color into the big room. I walk out through the same door way and see a passage in the opposite direction of the lounge. I walk down the wide passage and see five doors. Two to the left and three to the right of the passage. As I pass each door I open it and take a look inside. I've established that the first door on the right is the bathroom and the one on the left is a bedroom facing the sea with a big window lining the far wall. There's another door inside the room which I'm guessing is the en-suite bathroom. The next door on the left is the separate toilet. I walk further down the passage and open the last door on the right, it's another bedroom, smaller than the first one I saw but not too small. The last door I open is another bedroom, but this bedroom is beautiful. Similarly to the first bedroom it has a window on the far wall but also a door that opens up onto a deck at the back of the house. It too has an en-suite bathroom. I could say this is the biggest bedroom in the house. I walk towards the door and peak out before I open it. I walk out onto the deck and I'm greeted with warm air that smells like the ocean. The deck runs the full length of the house at the back and in the middle has stairs that cascade down onto a pathway. There are two wooden benches outside, the one closer to the bedroom I've now claimed as mine, being a swing. I run my fingertips across the railing as I walk the deck until I get to the stairs. I walk down and follow the short pathway until I get to the end where it meets with the golden beach sand. I look out to the distance and see people on the beach, enjoying themselves. This makes me smile. I feel like this is going to be good.
After I'm done looking around I walk back to the house and find mom standing by the door to the bedroom smiling at me.
"So I'm guessing this is your room", she says as she walk out onto the deck towards me.
"Yeah I really like this one, may I have it if that's okay with you. It's kind of the biggest room in the house.", I say as I walk back into the room and go check out the bathroom.
"Of course honey, that's why I said you should choose first. I really don't mind the bedroom I get but I think the first one I like, and it's next to your room.", mom follows me into the bathroom. The bathroom is a beautiful shade of light blue, like the sky. It has a beautiful big shower and next to it an oval bath. The toilet seat is glass filled with sand and various shells from the beach I'm presuming. On the one end is a beautiful glass basin with a big mirror on the wall.
