To mark this day I shall be writing a potentially AU Truly Understanding oneshot based in the summer hat lies between Aoi leaving second year and starting third year. This idea came to mind after seeing a drawing request made to the blogger "tatsudai" on Tumblr.
This request asked "tatsudai" to draw "Nitori after getting bitchslapped by puberty" ((credit to anon)) The image that prompted me to write this shot is located on the side here.
This along with a personal headcannon of mine that exists within the Truly Beautiful Universe, said headcannon is:
Nito' cries buckets after Rin graduates from Samezuka, especially when he finds out that his senpai isn't staying at graduate's house. Nito's friends leave him alone so he can recover from the blow he got from finding that out. During said time he gets the living daylights kicked out of him by puberty and gets scared of seeing the flirty Mikoshiba sister; Mei.

3rd Person POV *gasps all around* ((If you're confused, I hardly ever write in 3rd person ^^))

"Mrs Nitori! Is Nito' okay?" Andrews Fubuki's throbbing fist collides with the door of the Nitori household once more.
"Stop hitting the door Fubu', there's a bell for a reason." Soku Kaito, Fubuki's best friend rolls his eyes.
"Sorry boys, I can't seem to convince Aiichiro to come down. He really doesn't seem to be in the mood for a social gathering today." Mrs Nitori, a fair skinned, angular faced lady with a sleek sheet of silver hair and aqua blue eyes returns to the door.
Something awakens in Kaito's eyes and he turns to the lady at the door.
"But he's not training with us or anything! We haven't seen him since we broke up for summer!" Fubuki pouts.
"Fubu'." Kaito folds his arms, eyes shining with determination. "If Nito' doesn't want to come with us to meet up with Rin then he doesn't have to. Mrs Nitori, does Nito' know Rin's coming with us today?"
"I don't think so. I'll pass on the message." the woman smiles quickly at the two eager teenagers at her door before closing the door and retreating to Nito's room.
"Rin?" Fubuki cocks a brow. "Why did you do that?"
"So he'll talk to us baka." Kaito explains.
"You sneaky little shit." the clementine haired boy declares in a hushed tone. "I love seeing your deviant side Kai'."
The brunet blushes violently over how inappropriate that had sounded.
The screen of Fubuki's phone lights up.
'Are the girls coming?'
It was a text from Nitori.
Fubuki and Kaito sigh. Is this really about the girls? Nitori Aiichiro was friends with quite a few of the girls in his grade at Samezuka Academy. His best friend actually being classmate and Vice Captain of the girls swimming team; Ryugazaki Aoi.
It's true, the girls are expecting to meet Fubuki, Kaito, Nito' and their classmates Sasaki Hinata, Yoshida Sho and Tanaka Kenta at the bowling allley for a game and then sushi. Sushi is Nito's favourite food.
'For bowling and sushi, why?' Fubuki replies to the silver haired boy's text.
'Kaito, you're honest. Is Rin-senpai really coming.'
The two boys gulp.
'How can you be so sure that Kai's with me Nito'.' Fubuki hastily texts back as Kaito mopes in guilt. He feels terrible aboout lying to his friend; especially since he is seen to be the honest one.
