Boruto's pov
I walked to the library, she doesn't want what I really want so she's not the one, right?I saw her Uncle and our godmother or her Aunt as well playing chess on the table that's by the big window.
"Boruto!" My godmother Cherushi called out to me and I walked over to them.
"I heard what happened downstairs so explain to me why" she simply said.
"I've been waiting for a while to propose to Sara for a while now....but she's been-" I was cut off by Uncle Ciel.
"She's not ready and she's been treating your relationship like it's a rebound" Uncle Ciel said I nodded.
"I see" Uncle Ciel rubbed his chin as is he was thinking.
"She's been treating me like a game. I'm sick of it. Do I always have to wait for shit to happen? I've been waiting for a year now! All she thinks of marriege is a fucking prison!" I stopped ranting when I felt a warm hand on my shoulder, I turned to my godmother.
"She loves you. I mean she does treat you like a game two years ago. But she changed. She doesn't see marriege the same way as she does before. Bolt, she opened her heart to you though she was overwhelmed by the pain when she lost you" My godmother explained while I shook my head.
"Overwhelmed my ass! She hasn't changed at all! She'll never understand the pain of always being hidden! You two don't even understand the pain so why would she!" I yelled but the Phantomhive couple remained calm.
"You think we don't know your pain? *bitter chuckle* I love you godmother dearly, I kept the feelings away knowing I was already bethrothed to somebody else. I knew she had fallen in love with me when she had the will to get stronger and be a gangster like me. She killed somebody just to be with me, seeing this I knew she was ready for something that I wanted for quite a long time" Uncle Ciel cracked a smile.
"I've fallen out of love of her" I simply said, not agreeing with my heart but my brain instead.
"Do you still love her?" Aunt Cherushi asked.
"No" I answered.
"If time comes and when she finds somebody else would you still run back to her?" Uncle Ciel asked.
"No" I bitterly answered.
"Chess taught me that losing your Queen👑 is a bad move, do you think this is the right descision?" Uncle Ciel asked.
"It's better this way, after all I don't want to be broken in the end by The Mafia's Queen" I said and left the Phantomhive couple to continue their game.
This descision is right, right?
