Sarada's pov 5 months later
I opened my eyes hoping I'd see Boruto there holding my hand and not letting me go, but to my disapointment he isn't there.
I frowned and looked around and saw I was alone in my room.
I got out of bed still bare footed and walked to the bathroom.
When I finished, I walked back to my bed and sat down, that's when I realized there was a note and a ring on my bedside table.
I picked the ring and the note up and tears fell down my cheeks as I read the note.
Hey, glad you're finally awake. I'm sorry for breaking your heart but I'm here to make this right. You know I can't ask this in person cause I'll be on a long term mission but, Will you marry me?

I looked at the ring and saw the light blue diamond, the diamond looked indentical to his crystal blue eyes.
It mocked me with it's color because now I know he's gone. He left that mission for me, he wanted to protect me so he left.
I sobbed loudly and I dropped the note and the ring.
I sobbed till my eyes couldn't take it. That's when I realized he's coming back, he always promised that he'd come back alive. I took the ring back and looked at the message inside.
'I'll always be there, Mrs. Uzumaki dattebasa! -Boruto'
I slip the ring on my finger and it fits. How come Boruto knows my ring size?
I glanced at the window and looked outside. 'I'll see you soon, Boruto'
Meanwhile, Boruto's pov
I had to keep my guard up since today we're invading another gang that's after Sarada's life.
I looked up to see a security camera, "Goddamnit" I muttered and shot the security camera.
"Drop your guns!" A voice yelled from behind me, "I said drop 'em!" She yelled again.
Turned my head to see a girl with white hair. Hmm must be the boss.
"Who the hell are you and what the hell are you doing in my base?" She asked as she pointed her gun at me and pointed mine as well.
"You're after the love of my life. So I must exterminate you, simple as that" I said then shot her in her heart, just like Lubbock instructed.
"Come after her again and you'll die in the most painful way posible" I walked away leaving the dead body.
