secret place

JUNGKOOK had always wondered what it would feel like to fall in love with somebody. he had never had a crush on anybody since he was too shy to talk to people. he never would judge someone by their looks, not ever. he would mostly judge someone from their personality.

he never had the guts to talk to someone to get to know them. he only ever had one real friend, taehyung.

all his other friends left to go to another school, or just left because of how annoying and or quiet jungkook is. he is always surprised at the fact on how taehyung didn't leave him yet. from jungkook's spammed texts in the morning, or how he would always run away.

jungkook never noticed taehyung getting angry at him, though. he always remained calm at the fact that the younger has a secret place to run away to. taehyung knows everything about him. how he has anxiety around people, and how broken his family is.

he never uses that type of stuff against jungkook. that's one thing he admired about taehyung. he always was patient with him. he never wanted to make jungkook talk about something he was uncomfortable with.

yes, taehyung often wondered where this secret place is.

jungkook referred to it always being perfect. he always said that it's so quiet and peaceful, in where he could think.

he always says that he will only take someone he trusts up to this place. it breaks taehyung down every time he hears those words leave his mouth. someone he trusts. it replays in taehyung's head every time.

it was around lunch time when taehyung met up with the two couples at their lunch table. of course there was namjoon and jin, they are inseparable from each other. they are always together at all times. that always made taehyung jealous knowing he can't do the same with jungkook.

then yoongi and jimin, like so namjoon and jin, they were always together, from bus rides in the morning to school, to just going to their lockers.

"hey taehyung!" jin said from a short distance away.

"hi jin, hi namjoon." taehyung said bitterly. the couple ignores his tone, they are used to that tone from him nowadays.

"you cannot believe what happened to jackson today! he got detention because he was caught kissing mark in the janitor's room. i think that's disgusting! who would want to kiss someone in a janitors closet?" jin begins to ramble on and on.

taehyung just nodded his head, began taking out his lunch that he made himself, waiting for jungkook to come down to the cafeteria.

he heard his notification bell go off, he checked his phone to see texts from no other than the boy he wanted to get texts from.

taehyung knew deep inside that it wasn't okay, jungkook never skipped lunch, he never went to this 'secret place' at lunch, right?

that's when taehyung knew he had to find that place.
