TAEHYUNG sat there in shock of the question jungkook had asked him. he couldn't reveal the truth now, could he?

he didn't want to scare off jungkook, but i mean, they did just kiss. taehyung thought on maybe why he had kissed him. was it to shut taehyung up? taehyung kept thinking until-

"taehyung, answer the question," jungkook expressed, using a worried emotion while speaking.

"well um," taehyung started, "do you want me to give a short reason or a long reason?" taehyung questioned.

"preferably the longer reason, but it's your choice tae," jungkook said sitting up straighter.

taehyung sighed, he wanted to give the latter what he had asked for. he didn't want to disappoint him.

"well, in middle school when we first met, i thought you were really nice and sweet," taehyung began, "i believed with a strong passion that we were going to be friends, and i really enjoyed the thought of that. i enjoyed the thought of talking to you every day and i enjoyed the thought of knowing we would see each other every day and talk with you,

when high school came around, you started leaving during random periods to go to this place, i thought you were getting tired of me talking to you or following you around. there was only one reason why i did that. there is still only one reason why i followed you around and tried to become closer to you," taehyung took a deep breath in.

"jeon jungkook, i like you. i honestly probably love you. i love everything about you, i love the way you smile, i love your personality, and i love that you never let go of me. it was stupid for me to think that you were trying to get away from me when really, you were going to your escape place. it hurt to think that i wasn't helping you, but it's getting better knowing you already have one." taehyung finished talking and looked up at jungkook who was teary-eyed.

"taehyung, i-"

it'so, its okay, you wanted to know why I'm always blushing around you, and now you know. the reason i blush around you is because i love you. i understand if you don't want to talk to me anymor-" before taehyung could finish his sentence, jungkook cut him off by kissing him passionately.

"taehyung, i have one more question," jungkook said, taehyung just nodded his head as an invitation to go on.

"taehyung, would you want to go out with me on a date?" jeongguk asked blushing.

taehyung was shocked at the question. he never could imagine that his crush, his best friend would ask him out.

he never thought jeongguk would actually listen to his words, and he definitely did not think jeongguk would kiss him.

it felt like a dream to taehyung, like if he pinched himself or slapped his cheek he would wake up from his dream.

"really? you would want to take me on a date?" taehyung questioned the younger.

"of course, taehyung.  you mean the absolute world to me taehyung, you never noticed all the times i would look at you? have you never noticed all the notes i left in your bag telling you to 'have a good day?' did you ever notice i liked you?" jungkook sighed, standing up from the sofa.

"yes," taehyung shortly answered.

"yes to what?" jungkook replied, clicking his teeth.

taehyung stood up, "yes, i did notice all of those things. i noticed the way you look at me, i thought it was friendly, those notes, i thought they were just things you do to people, i never knew you liked me. so, to answer your question," taehyung walked over to jungkook.

"yes, i would love to go on a date with you, kookie."

taehyung pulled the younger in for a hug, not a friendly hug, a hug that had love in it. a hug that had trust in it.

"so, taehyung, why don't i go show you my spot, huh?" jungkook said, raising his head.

taehyung nodded, smiling at him. jungkook grabbed his hand and headed out the door.
