"Excuse me.. Hey! ", A new girl approached Elena.

"Hey.. ", Gilbert replied.

"Umn.. Am new here and have kinda lost my way.. Can you show me where the registration office is ? "

"Sure.. I am going in that direction only. I can take you if you like. ", The dead ringer offered politely. Now, that Elena noticed the girl more, something about how she looked intrigued her. 

"That would be great. ", The new brunette replied. 

They both started moving forward when the girl introduced herself, "I am Nora by the way. Just got into the town. "

"Oh.. That's why I have never seen you before. I'm Elena. Where did you move from ? "

"North Carolina. "

"Oh. Why did you move to Mystic Falls ? It's a small town. "

Nora chuckled, "Yeah.. My Dad's a history junkie and supposedly this town is very rich in its history. ", She didn't tell her father being a History teacher in this school only. Being the teacher's daughter never helps in making new friends.

"It is. ", Gilbert agreed.

They continued to walk forward but the elder one stopped abruptly when she saw Stefan standing right in front of her. She was shocked.

"Hi. ", He greeted, "We need to talk. ", The vampire then once glanced at the girl beside Elena but then looked at her again. There was something uncanny about her appearance plus he hadn't seen her before.
Elena nodded at her ex-boyfriend or whatever understandingly and then looked apologetically at the new girl.

"Hey, it's okay! Just tell me where it is, I will manage. ", Nora immediately said.

Gilbert told her the directions.

"Thanks. Nice talking to you.. See you around. ", The younger brunette said.

"Yeah.. Same here! ", Elena told her and she took off.

"Who was she ? ", Stefan asked looking back at her.

"She's new here. ", She replied, "Why are you here Stefan ? "

"Let's go somewhere else to talk. ", He said pointing towards the busy hallway. Gilbert girl nodded.

"So, you already got yourself a mid-term admission. ", Alaric commented walking around with her daughter at the career fair in school.

"Told you. Not going anywhere.. ", Nora replied nonchalantly.

"I believe this town is crawling with vampires. Do I need to be more specific ? You're not safe here. ", He couldn't live in peace without knowing what happened to Isobel but he also couldn't possibly drag their daughter into it.

The brunette sighed heavily, "If there are really vampires here Dad then you're not safe either but are you ready to let go of mom ? No, right ? ", Ric looked at his daughter. She hasn't called Isobel 'Mom' since she died or whatever happened to her. She still believed that she left them.
