All the yelling woke Rue up and she ran down the stairs, concerned for her family's safety. All she could see was her older brother, younger sister and mother crowded round her father.
"What's going on?" Rue asked, confused about the whole situation.
The last thing she saw was her father looking straight at her irises completely erased, only white surounding his pupil.
Everything went black before a shining light broke through the abyss. A single person stood, the light illuminating around their head like a halo. The light a blinding golden shade that looked like the sun was shining down on them, an angel in the hell that was Earth.
